I'm speculating that part of themselves still exists in their forms and actions. If so, then our Voidsent following us may have been a soldier who lived their lives on the battlefield on the 13th, killing or else they'd be killed.
What if the voidsent we make a contract with is actually the fragment of ourselves from the 13th that got turned into a Voidsent.
