Viera and Hrothgar Megathread

Yeah, this is how I feel about it as well. It's not that I have a problem with their preferences. It's that they dismissed male viera based on a difference of 2 inches, when they are already tall to begin with. To me that is petty, and that says that they weren't that interested in them at all to begin with.

Again, it's a personal preference. We can agree to disagree on the matter but people are allowed to have their own personal tastes.

I did my part to push for male viera to conform to the aesthetics I favoured. It didn't pan out and as I said in a prior post, it is what it is. I'm not going to pretend to care for how they turned out, though. I'm glad they were added but they're just not to my personal tastes in their current form and as such I have no intention of playing one.

Now that they're around, though, hopefully we'll get some additional customisation options for the older playable races. They're looking a little dated at this point in time.

It just strikes me as a strange thing to pick apart. Each to their own, though!

In the end, it doesn't matter too much anyway since most current viera I see are cowards and make their characters min height. Any max height male viera is going to be taller than at least 2/3 of the female viera population.

Perhaps. I certainly won't complain if that happens to be the case.

It also remains to be seen how popular Viera men prove to be once they are added to the game. I have a feeling that they'll be most popular on the Crystal datacentre and mostly impact the Miqo'te male population.

They're tall enough that my Miqo'te can continue to feel like everyone else towers over him. That works for me.
