    "FFXIV is not for hardcore players"

    Well certainly not since Yoshida took over, and it was definitely "streamlined" a lot to be focused more and more on people who seem to generally dislike PvE content to the point they think anything that requires a fixed party to be cleared, pre-planning or isn't a hallway sim meant to last 15 mins is bad content.
    There is a huge difference in the focus from 2.X, even 3.X and everything since Stormblood. IDK why defenders pretend it's always been this way when it clearly changed.

    It's wasn't exactly for hardcore players before yoship. There wasn't anything to do in the game lol...
