Once I found out Asmongold joined Cactuar (the server I'm on to play with a friend) I have started searching for his character when I log in for the sole purpose of avoiding whatever area he's at. I don't want to be anywhere near his mob of minions. I am sure I'm not the only one that does this.

The increase in log in time whenever he's on and streaming is not fun. Hopefully the bans they are handing out also help with that too.

Streamers don't bother me. The players that go nuts around them does. I'm grateful for the GM's that are out there preserving the peace the best they can.

Been playing a month or so from WoW, and only one time did somebody give me grief to this point in game. Still learning healing as I level, and a tank in a duty finder got upset because I asked him to slow down the train trash pulls as I was unable to keep up with the damage. I guess the sprout thing told him I was from WoW, and he proceeded to give me hell about crap players invading his game. I had no idea you could actually report this kind of thing. Everyone else I have met has been very cool in game

I am sorry you had to run into someone like that. Most people seem to be really good about someone being new if you tell them. When I was trying healer and tank, I told everyone I wasn't very confident in the class yet and they all understood. I ended up giving them up because I was always anxious about being bad and how it would be at higher levels. xD

The Sprout tag is the New Adventurer emblem, which can always be turned off by typing /nastatus in the chat window. Unfortunately, you're going to run into a lot of tanks in dungeons that like to chain pull and LOS the healer, sometimes forcing a wipe. Remember to keep Sprint available and use accordingly, it helps when I'm healing. When a wipe occurs, tell the tank to slow down, which it appears you're already doing. Regarding the Sprout tag and what it supposedly represents though, it won't matter much most of the time, at least not in my experience, it's still probably better to leave it on though.

the sprout tag does not mean you are from WoW... at all. nor does it mean you are a "crap player". I would have reported them and then black listed after the dungeon. you dont need that treatment

you can carry the tag for a while, even after experiencing a lot of the content. some tanks will always go full bore, the nicer ones might ask if they can pull big, so depends on your confidence level

a few will just assume you can keep them healed.

I main healers and there are some places I still dislike wall to wall pulls since some tanks dont time mitigation well and it can get close.

Like the others, I'm sorry you had the one bad experience but glad that's been the only one so far.

If it helps, the Sprout icon is for any new character that hasn't played a certain number of hours and made it to Shadowbringers content yet. I'm leveling up a new alt right and it's the got the Sprout icon as well even though I've been playing since HW launch. The game has no way of knowing what other games you've played in the past. You could have come from GW2 or ESO (or even have FFXIV as the first online game you've ever played) and you'd still have the Sprout icon.

SE takes in game harassment pretty seriously, far more than Blizzard does. They want all players to be having a good game experience. If someone is getting totally out of line and it's reported, SE will take action.

I think it was just a guess based on the number of players that have recently rolled over to FF from WoW. I appreciate everyone being so nice about it, but it is all good. I developed a thick hide from time playing in WoW, healers get a lot of grief and little love there. Honestly, I am still trying to process that SE will actually suspend/ban people who go full Karen

Watching today's stream, it wasn't near as bad but there were still some people killing Asmon's mobs and jumping on him and NPC with large mounts. I Hope SE gets those people and hands them a few days suspension too.

Over all people were less annoying. Asmon even asked once for people to stop killing his quest mobs so he can experience the battle part of the game.
