Are you referring to me?Question why are people using spreg with what appears to be a negative connotation? As someone on the spectrum I am not sure how their behavior goes hand in hand unless people are saying being obsessive to the point of causing extreme annoyance. Which is not always a categorization of ASD.
I ask cause I do refer to myself as a sperg with my friends and stuff but it is for many reasons not just what I could see is being annoying.
I actually didn't know it was a reference to that which is why I edited my comment with the clip.
I always thought it just meant '' really annoying person '' and after I wrote it I kinda began wondering what it actually meant and looked it up.
So I am sorry it wasn't meant to cause offense, I legit didn't know what it meant.

Technically yeah, it's relabelled into autism/ASD now but it still works as a shorthand to define a specific section of the spectrum.
I was first diagnosed at age 11 so it's been "Aspergers" for decades but had to get formally rediagnosed as an adult for something a few years back, and the psychologist then specifically wrote something like "high-functioning ASD* formerly classified as Aspergers" to keep the term in there even though it's not officially used any more.
* I can't remember exactly what it was; I'm not sure if that's the correct term now either.

Thanks, and yeah it's becoming more and more common using it as an insult so... directed at you but also not at you, but at the internet-at-large.Are you referring to me?

Yesh that was the case for me I was diagnosed when I was 8 then at 22 was re diagnosed for work related issues. High functioning low social and emotional something along those lines. It was around the Same time they officially gave me ASPD.Technically yeah, it's relabelled into autism/ASD now but it still works as a shorthand to define a specific section of the spectrum.

As mentioned it was aimed towards you but not more so aimed at the general use of the word especially in the context of an annoying person. Though props on looking it up.Are you referring to me?

Player

I am really really enjoying watching him play.
Once past that first day and all of the griefers, he's really fun to watch.
I love the mispronounciations (I'm sure he knows and revels in it) and I love how he keeps calling Y'shtola his wife (the one he's gonna marry).
Really, having a nice diversion watching him.
