Harassment to Asmongold on his 1st day stream is an Embarassment to FF Community

No one claimed Asmonhold is a Twitch Idol, your words not mine.
I think most people who are online and play this game and been for awhile has heard of Asmongold, especially if you follow some of the bigger content creators for 14, such as ZeplaHQ.

Despite your claim "don't care" you are pretty vocal here about it and know a lot about it, and Asmongold streaming the game is a good thing, we had over 200k viewers on Twitch yesterday where 95% was in Asmongold's stream. He brings people and attention to the game on Twitch, he was even trending on Twitter I hear.

This is no small feat.

Still doesn't give someone the right to say that his reception during his first foray into playing FFXIV shows just how bad the "FFXIV Community" really is -- or did you ignore the post I was responding to?

Square Enix certainly thinks it's a serious plattform given the recent European event they running.

I hadn't heard of him until I saw someone mention him on these forums. Some of you might be surprised to realise the majority players in this game are very casual and probably don't use twitch, discord or the forums, at least for this game. They may use discord to join their Free Company discord at best.

That's valid but those people don't visit the forums or reddit but those who do lurk here and on reddit and being negative nancy and think world if coming to an end, is end of the day giving the community a bad name. I have never claimed (and if I have come across that way I'm sorry for my poor choice of words but english is also my 3rd language) the whole community hates the guy and don't welcome him but the vocal minority is the face out to people who don't play this game.
