I am one of those crazy people that did enjoy BFA story.
I am one of those crazy people that did enjoy BFA story.
One of the few then. For me it was WoW's death knell. And sure enough, the game hasn't been on my PC since about 8.2... or maybe the first month of 8.3. Though like someone suffering from Stockholm syndrome I can't help but check out its news and stuff about patches.
You misreadYou have GOT to be kidding me. I played that and it was a sick joke. BFA was, and is, and always has been a dumpster fire. Disjointed story, bad graphics, mission tables, RNG, drip fed "war campaign"..Ive been gaming for decades , BFA was and is deficient in almost every area.
The "invasions" were a copy and paste from Legion, I didnt see ONE original idea or storyline.
The entire BFA premise was absurd, hackneyed, old, done to death,. we'd gone to fight ancients with massive power, and instead of building on that and working forward, they reverted to the faction war that NO ONE believes is worth a stack of beans.
I was Alliance and I remember full well having to go to some weird place, the first dungeon area, no idea where it was, no story on how we got there, no story on how we even knew it existed, to rescue some guy we didnt even know was in the area and to attack and kill NPC's with zero story behind what they were there for. No idea on how I got there, no backstory on any relation to the current campaign, no details as to how whathisface even GOT there to begin with, to say less of what he was doing there.
It was like a jigsaw puzzle with 3/4 of the pieces missing. None of it made a lick of sense...to say NOTHING on how BFA ended..oh wait yeah, I did see an ending like that before, actually.
In Lord of the Rings.
So no, BFA was nowhere near the quality of Shadowbringers and never will be.
See, I agree, BFA was awful.
Jaina Proudmoore's storyline that you followed after leveling an alliance character up through Kul Tiras was fantastic. Jaina's story. Specifically. That started with that beautiful warbringers cinematic and culminated in her calling the fleet home with that beautiful song.
Rest of the expansion promptly fell flat on it's face.

Its fools gold. It just added to the drama of streaming, no doubt zack rawr will be happy about it.
Anyone got pics of the tweets? That sounds a bit insaneSo ah ... the drama continues but not in the way people think.
The Lead Product Manager of Blizzard called Asmon an Ahole on twitter, then he and a number of other employees had to switch their account to private.
So ... eventful day lol *nibbles popcorn* https://old.reddit.com/r/wow/comment...lizzard_calls/
I guess they're not as friendly as they might've thought of themselves.
Probably because a huge number of FFXIV zealots scream across the internet about how awesome they are with the ardent fervor of the most extreme religious fundamentalists.
Even though the rest of us know it's no different than any other MMO.
We arnt Zealots, chill out with that nonsense. We are just FFXIV players that enjoy our game and want others to enjoy it as well. And a few bad actors dont represent the FFXIV community as a whole.
Your post reads like you just want to take down anything positive about this game, over a small group of trolls.
