It's the best thing he can do, since when trolls see their tactics to keep him out of the game are not working they'd give up and go back to afking in Limsa or RPing.
Swarming a game developer is different than swarming a new player trying to enjoy the game. He's said multiple times that the people are making it difficult and not fun. They're killing his quest npcs and actively following him, making the quest npc not load.
Out of curiosity, does he play with a mouse/keyboard, and has someone told him the button to hide all the player names to make it easier to click on NPCs?
Then one must perform the ultimate "removal" tool...send in a report to the GMs about the harassment. You know how fast the GMs respond in this game, and with a stream as proof, you'll see a lot of people scatter if they think they'll get banned over it.
He flat out said in stream that the people are stressing him out but doesn’t think the GMs will help him so he’s just trying his best to ignore it.
Which is what he's doing now!
Good.
Just what I was saying. I wouldn't be surprised if there are FFXIV players intentionally trying to make his gameplay experience as bad as possible so wants to leaves the game. For that matter, he'd probably have problems whether he streamed or not, once his character name got out there.I don't watch anyone's stream because I don't have that kind of time. I do watch his highlights. Recently he visited a dead classic WoW server and the server didn't explode. While I am sure there are some of his fans following around, the endgame and event mounts suggest there are other people around trying to disrupt his gameplay too. I hope a GM bans the latter.

I've seen a few people in his chat say it, but I'm kinda half-watching while I run Zadnor. Now his chat is spamming how toxic these people/community is. It's kinda ironic, since ffxiv players go on about how toxic they are.
