I'd love a snow zone but most importantly a snow village! I love the effect of lit up cabins covered in snow reflecting the light from inside on the snow outside. So cozy and warm looking in contrast to the icky cold of winter.
Really hope we have a nice autumn zone leading to it as well... Here in the Northeast USA we experience every season in full (with the most time spent in winter... yuck shoveling and cold), would like to do the same in a game for once.

Be like Super Mario Bros. 3 where there's a world of every kind: ice world, grasslands world, forest world, mountain world, desert world, water world, lava world, sky world, giant world (this'll be hilarious), pipe world (maybe make it tunnel world instead), and demon world. Maybe add in urban world and swamp world too, while we're at it. Then to add even more worlds, make lava mountain world, giant water world, demon forest world (watch out for the tentacled things!), icy sky world (constant blizzards with winds of 60 mph will be your standard forecast, watch out for the ledges), and other combinations.

skip to 8:15 for GW2 snow zone, pretty cool area. seams they use ice for ground with blizzard effects
