Answering the title: Yep you need... They desiged the mount to be the prize for a long grind.

Think about that way: at least you know how much work you need to put into. The Zadnor hoverbike requires a grind with such slim RNG behind and you don't even know if you'll ever be able to get it.

I am Lv 5 with Moogle right now and IT IS HORRIBLE!!! I hate doing this monotonous quest over and over and over again.
And then I have to do it again with the dwarfs -.-

What are you even talking about?! I already got a lot of hard cards, I farmed many ex trials and dungeons for cards, whats your problem?!

Takes about a month to get a beast tribe to Bloodsworn, not a few days. Even if it's just a few minutes a day, there's no way to speed up the process.

Farming old EX mounts (not current expansion) can be done considerably faster and the cards themselves are just a matter of RNG.

I have done all the current beast tribes and i can assure you that the moogles one is by far the worst! totally hate it

Disagree. I hate the moogles, this is true. But i hate the namazu exponentially more. The original SB plan(kojin, qitari, ananta for crafts) should have been stuck with.

Beast tribes were a great and easy way to make some level's on a class I don't like.
Also, the things you can buy from a tribe can sometimes be sold for a lot more on the mb

Beast tribes are seriously worth doing, and you might end up falling in love with some of them; they have their own expanding story lines and some are comedy gold.
