Southern Front is not worth participating in twice due to mettle

I feel like they need to tie mettle in the southern front to mettle level. If you go back into the southern front to grind some stuff for more relics than your first then it feels like you are being punished for doing ce and stuff while waiting for castrum to pop. In zadnor who cares if you die in Looks to Die For because the mettle reward is enough it is fine to die once to mechanics while you spam rez everyone else. In southern front if you die to say the math fate or red choctober, you make back maybe a third of the mettle you lost at the end. It really discourages actually participating in the instance instead of just waiting in the camp for Castrum to pop so you can get your relic drops and move on. If they tied mettle gain to mettle level then it wouldn't be a problem for people to go back into southern front. Maybe after I hit 10/10/10 on my mettle buffs I wouldn't care but as I'm sitting at 7/7/6 right now I'm just going to sit in the camp and wait on Castrum.

Castrum spawns faster if you actually partcipate in the instance instead of just standing around. If youre so concerned about mettle loss, idk why youre not hanging out in Zadnor full time instead of doing the weekly quest. You get more mettle from doing a CE and a skirmish in Zadnor than the weekly quest.

What else can we do besides earning them back, if we die at all? While the mettle gain in BSF aren’t scaled well, the difficulty definitely is. Smaller group can still clear just fine & players are not in risk of dying unless they screw up so badly.

It's not about the weekly quest or about getting mettle from Castrum. I'm doing all the relics, so doing 3 Castrums for its step is less grindy than anything else. I also want to earn mettle while I'm doing the relic rather than just grinding mettle to do relics faster. While I am waiting on Castrum I would prefer to do skirmishes and ce and help out. But, the point is that I literally have no incentive to help out spawning ce or doing skirmishes and instead am incentivized to just let others handle it since if I die to a ce I get punished when that ce is literally as hard as ce in zadnor that you don't get punished for dying in. It's not like this when you level in southern front the first time. If you die you still get more mettle from winning than you did from dying, unless you are particularly bad and die a lot. There is no incentive to help out in doing any of this once you are lvl 25, your one persons worth of contribution won't really make Castrum pop any faster, and plenty of reason not to help.

You do.

Every CE cleared, which will go faster with your help, speeds up the spawn rate of castrum. By doing CE, you are actively reducing the amount of time you're on that step, which also means you'll be spending less time in Bozja.

Also, have you tried just not dying? It's not hard lol.

I've said my piece on the official forums where you have to go to be heard "officially" even though we all know that being heard is rare, and now back to ignoring the forums for several more months.

I mean your argument is that you LITERALLY have no incentive, which by the definition of literally (in a literal manner or sense; exactly.), is only going to be true if you don't want to do your relic.

Because, by definition of literally, you literally finish your relic faster by participating in CE. And since you're here because of relic, as literally stated at :

Then you, by definition, literally have incentive.

This is a VERY good suggestion. There is no reason that the mettle gained in Bozdja should be so low at this point. It makes it completely pointless to go there if you are rank 25 and up from Zadnor.
