About damage essences in Delubrum/Dalriada

They all wasted their time and gil farming some of the worst content this game has ever created, so of course they're angry that you didn't have to.

You get basically no fragments running FATES or CEs, which is pretty much the entirety of what Bozja is. Instead you have to sit outside killing trash for fragments, which you then have to gamble at crap odds to get essences. My entire time in Bozja I got exactly 5 usable essences for my Job.

So yea, I completely get why no one uses essences. I only essenced for 5 of the 15 DR runs I had to do for my relic, and basically just gave up on the relic after that. No way I could stomach another full round of Bozja leveling, and the final relics looked like crap anyways.

I always use essences but rarely get a group that can clear DR under 40 minutes. The best I've ever got was 30ish minutes. Nothing breathtaking.
But I know what I can and can't expect from DF.

Why dont you ask you friends/fc if they have extra that they are willing to part with? Or you can server hop in your data center to see what is the cheapest.

This patch, the number of DR runs to complete the Timeworn step of a Relic has been cut down from 15 to 5. At the same time the cost of Pure Essence fragments (the good ones) has been cut from 3 Clusters to 1. This is massive, 20 minutes cluster farming would probably net you enough to finish multiple relics.

I'm glad SE is at least sort of acknowledging the problem and taking steps to address it, but it's still stupid.

Just make essences permanent unlocks or make them guaranteed drops from the real content in Bozja. Farming clusters for what amounts to randomized loot boxes is still the kind of crap people are guaranteed to avoid.

Or better yet, ask if they want to work together & form a frag farming group together. They can sell for profit in case they don’t need the frag (I certainly don’t at this point!), & they can get the frags easily with the help of the whole group!

Not gonna lie, their price had been spiking up ever since Zadnor went live due to a lot people traversing into one & moreover are farming for field notes & relics. And yet cluster farming had become so much easier than ever by now that:

If you are actually spawning Skirmishes and CE's instead of sitting in camp waiting for others to do it for you, you end up drowning in Clusters which can be exchanged for the fragments you need.

I swear the Venn diagram of people who "cant" get fragments and the people who complain about slow CE spawn rates is a circle.
