I swear all the time. Just never directed at anyone in particular. The ToS is vague, yes, but read between the lines they don't want you being hostile to other players or being openly risque.

Honestly, I don't know if the GMs are too active or not active enough with how many conflicting stories I hear.

Most players probably won't be bothered by the occasional curse, myself included. I swear all the time outside of the game. However, you are still rolling the dice every time you do so in game. That's your choice, but don't be surprised if one day you log in find your character in the gaol. Personally, I just keep it clean to avoid having that happen at all. It's really not that hard.

I have a friend that has a short temper, sometimes in a duty he'll get stressed, blow off on people, cursing the heavens and everything and I'm always super afraid he'll get banned... never got a strike or anything of the sort. If he never suffered for his actions I suppose speaking shouldn't be that dangerous.


And the thing with your account's chat log... I think the GM would only take action based on the exchanges between you and the person who reported you. I don't think he'll read the bible that is everything you ever typed just because he really wants to ban you for something unrelated to the report.

Nope. I bet he never really wanted to play. Look at his face everytime XIV is mentioned. It's like someone's pushing shit in his face. He's clearly sick of it. He even admitted he didn't want to play anything else other then WoW on his second channel on twitch. Plus with Blizzard in panic mode shooting out the 9.1 patch, chances are he's never leaving. Oh well. WE DID get Cobrax tho. Support his channel, it's good stuff

The trick is, to scare them to the point that they're afraid to report you. Works like a charm.
