    This may only be a fix for Ryzen. I enabled PBO in BIOS , selected thge Positive curve option under curve optimizer, and set the magnitude setting to 5. I left the clock setting at +0. I have not had any issues in other games so I am not sure if my CPU just has a bad core or what that final fantasy is exposing, but this fixed it for me. Do this at your own risk. I would not increase the voltage much on your CPU. I believe that increasing it to 5 on my bios increased the max mv by .025.
    That's odd. My guess then is either the board you have does voltage differently, or wonky core like you said.

    I have a strix x570-i ITX board with a 5800x, and I have a negative offset of like 6 or 9 in PBO, with +200mhz offset on the core, and I've seen my cores hit 5.025Ghz, and never had client crashing issues. Very odd.
