Thats where Im personally curious with Asmongold. Arr is abit of a slog.I'll always envy the ability to play a game for the first time. I remember having a lot of fun back in ARR when everything was new and shiny. I doubt I could bring myself to push through ARR ever again, though. Even after the revamp. It's not even necessarily a case of disliking it so much as finding it so time consuming.
I sat out in the Limsa starting area by the lvl 1 area on my tank mount from the dwarfs and had a few sprouts stop to see what that mount even was and thought it was cool to see the animation of the firing. Lets say there were a lot of new people which is great to see.I'll always envy the ability to play a game for the first time. So, has he already started streaming FF14 then? Or not yet?
Also, do we know how this has been recieved outside these forums? Like, what does his regular audience think?
From a poll he did 40% of his audience does not even play WoW. Asmongolds growth in viewers came after he did Dark Souls then did WoW classic so retail players is not even his biggest base which I always found funny.
They are going to watch him because they know it will be a train wreck as he either skips the story or complains for 4 expansions about everything he see's. That guys audience actually sky rockets when he is suffering or having a panic attack. It is very masochistic relationship they have.
I think he said the MSQ he would do off stream but if you ask me I doubt he will even play because 9.1 is going to launch over there which will distract him and Blizzard keeps drip feeding content into classic Burning Crusade so for now he is still in WoW land.
Calling him great is a bit of a stretch, anyway he'll probably get bored before level 20.
Really?
Heh, that is pretty funny.
Poor guy : (
Gotcha, thank you.
I love watching all the sprouts run around and look at things. It's like they are kids running around in the world for the first time. It's so cool. I give them head pats. One was shocked you can do that and followed me for like 5 mins lol. Zalera's never been of life. Everyone should pat the new peeps.I sat out in the Limsa starting area by the lvl 1 area on my tank mount from the dwarfs and had a few sprouts stop to see what that mount even was and thought it was cool to see the animation of the firing. I was finally messing around with Arcanist after god knows how long and I was like holy crap this is a lot of straight up new sprouts with 1 single job at lvl 4 in the game. I knew there was a wave of new people hence the endless threads on this general forums but even I was a little amazed.I love watching all the sprouts run around and look at things. It's crazy. I dunno what is going on but I'm not mad at it. It's bringing new blood into the game. We were fine without them but I'm not mad they are here. They seriously look like kids running around tho. You can tell they are new cause they run and stop alot and feel generally curious and abit wowed. You literally can see it in their actions lol. Part of the reason he's doing it is because people want to see him play. There would be no point in doing the MSQ off stream, especially when he's not going to boost. That means that the MSQ would be a majority of the content as he levels, although he can choose to distract himself with side contents if he wants.
