Given Yoshi's love for WoW, I think we can be pretty sure he is also aware of it.
When the game's story becomes self-aware:
Of course I know who they are, I guess a sarcasm tag is necessary when one posts a sarcastic comment casting shade on this whole s*** thread. If you read his twitter, it's quite clear that was to make it clear it is just a game and there is not needed for twitter drama as it clear there is a clash between wow and ff14 players there either praising it and ask him not to come at all. Just like a big number of people in this thread is saying.
Why call someone you don't know a loser? I think you do know who Asmongold is and just trying to be "cool" on the internet.

Have you said anything about wow does this better, would be cool if something similar was implemented in FF - in public?
I'm gonna guess no or you would been saying so much salt. Google "scottzone ff14 drama" and you shall see (tldr: doxxing, d threats etc)
I've had friends asking for wow transmog system. "OH HOW DARE YOU INSULT OUR GLAMOUR SYTEM REEEEEEE" paraphrasing ofc but you get the point.

Don't touch me there
No Jealousy to hide, because there is none in the 1st place.
I dont need his money, he can keep it. I have and work for my own money. Thanks.
You're right, it didnt teach me any of that, didnt even mention it in the Curriculum. But it did mention that there are No shortcuts, and I have to learn and study if I want to be successful. It also taught Math, Science and Social Studies to name a few, Didn't teach anything about people being the same or anything about a Cookie Cutter Life. I studied and learned, and now Im successful with my own house.Because your school didn't teach you that life is not a cookie cutter and not everyone is the same. Those who succeed are the ones who learn how to seize opportunities when they see them. No point in learning and studying if you're not able to utilize them to do what others can't. And here you want to trivialize everything successful people did and water it down so that you can lump even those that barely did 1% of what these people did and achieved, just to avoid labeling them as "special". Yeah, you all get an A for participation!!
So, What do I need to be Jealous about?
None of these people are anything special. Nothing is Trivialized, its a simple fact, and I really don't care what other people have. But you want me to so badly like the sad strange troll that you are.
Yes it does. Because I speak for myself, you dont speak for meJust because you stated you're not, doesn't mean you aren't. The signs are as clear as day. If you're not jealous, you wouldn't insist that someone achieving what roughly 95% of the world can't isn't special. Especially when you yourself can't even achieve 5% of what they did.
He didn't accomplish anything to be jealous of, there is nothing to be jealous of. He is a gamer like me, who plays games like me. Asmongold, is nothing Special.
Him playing FFXIV, is nothing Special.
Simple Facts
Its also a fact based on what you type, that you're a Troll. And Im sure you're having a great time with this.
Im probably the most fun you had the past 2 weeks.
IF they're that bad they'll be banned as fast as they join up.
So, best case scenario Asmon and his army like the game and they end up being a bridge between WoW and FFXIV that gets a lot of WoW players interested. Worst case scenario SE gets to bleed the retail price and 1 months sub from an army of trolls. Most likely scenario they mostly don't like the game and move on, but still give FFXIV some face time with a large segment of WoW's playerbase; maybe resulting in some fringe interest from random players who didn't know what FFXIV was all about.
Regardless of how anyone feels about Asmon, this is a good thing.
I'd still rather watch a let's play in Japanese on Twitch.
This drama continues unabated. How curious.
There is no drama. Some people like that Asmongold is trying, some don't, and some don't care either way. That's normal for a relatively well known guy in the MMORPG/Twitch/YouTube field, and none of it matters in the end. Asmongold will do what's best for him and for his viewership.
There's a lot of let's plays popping up on Youtube; it's amazing to watch the migration. Some guy just fought Ifrit for the first time and he was just so excited to be there. Literally the worst primal. You don't have to be named to feel welcomed or appreciated as a player in FFXIV, whether you come from WoW or any other game. I watched many WoW streamers lately, playing FFXIV having a breath of fresh air and it's exciting to watch them enjoying it too. If they don't enjoy it then that's fine too, but do what makes you happy and move along simple as that. Leave the bitterness somewhere else.
I'll always envy the ability to play a game for the first time. I remember having a lot of fun back in ARR when everything was new and shiny. I doubt I could bring myself to push through ARR ever again, though. Even after the revamp. It's not even necessarily a case of disliking it so much as finding it so time consuming.
