Ohhh, Elden Ring...
I'm excited to play a knight made of living metal that needs a good shining, riding a cow-horse. Endwalker into Elden Ring this fall/winter. Omnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnom
Anyone else excited for Elden Ring?

Looks exactly like dark souls...and now that i looked up a little information about it, i'm not at all surprised. Jesus, how many times can Miyazaki and From Software regurgitate the same old s*it?Ohhh, Elden Ring...

They have as much of a forgiveness threshold as Nintendo has, what with Nintendo making the same Zelda game for... *checks notes* 26 years. The same Mario games for 35. The industry allows it. However many Call of Duties, Battlefields, and Assassin's Creeds etc. People like to know what they're getting.
That said, while it has the same aesthetic, its gameplay looks to introduce many new things, at least new in terms of the Souls series. Mounted combat. Open world. Multiplayer open world. Likely a much more cohesive story with George R.R. Martin partially at the helm.
Really wouldn't call it the same old shit.

Well, i've only played old nintendo games like ocarina of time, majoras mask and mario 64, so i guess you get what you pay for. The rest? I'm not into FPS and i dropped assassins creed after the second game. They have as much of a forgiveness threshold as Nintendo has, what with Nintendo making the same Zelda game for... *checks notes* 26 years. Anyway, the most important question for combat improvements is: are they going to shoehorn PvP, especially invasions, into the game yet again? If yes (and considering their past M.O. probably, not to mention the fans expectations) then if there are any improvements, there won't be many. Regardless, maybe it won't be the EXACT same old, but i've had enough of dark souls and souls-like games to last a lifetime.
