Because they have no reason to log on and might just wanna enjoy housing again and see what's new next time they come back? Same way people who only do MSQ sometimes only sub once every patch to do it.

Ppl can cry about MPK being a troll all they want but Yoshi-P telling us to "take breaks" while requiring us to stay subbed to enjoy a certain piece of content to its fullest is scummy

The game has consequences to your choices. Also when a Triple Legend tells you they want to take a break they mean until the next Ultimate which is 9.1 so sometime in 2022 lol

You kinda need to do savage and therefore resub for 6.0 to do ultimate but there was an attempt

Besides it doesn't matter when someone would want to resub the housing system is bad and it's not worth defending because either "oh but OP is a known troll" or because the game is perfect the monetization system is flawless and nothing about FFXIV should be criticized

Housing is something that is advertised when you buy the game. It shouldn't be something that can be nearly impossible to reasonably and fully partake it.

They admitted several times to buying the house JUST to lord it over people who don't have one. They admit to not using it at all, not just "at the moment"

I agree that this housing system isnt nowhere near being perfect, but i prefer it over the one where everyone has house on their own instance.

We can keep the current housing system, but I'd also like it if instanced housing was implemented too (with a yard/garden/chocobo stable). We get a few outdoor furnishing items from events, but a lot of people can't do anything with those.

How about making the current housing system better too ? Ppl loose their house because of they take break and others can't even get one.
If instanced housing becomes a thing, the current housing system needs an update as well. It's rare to even see ppl there, what will be the point to choose current housing instead of instanced ?
