Good luck convincing these people to include any sort of diversity. ^^I think they are trying to avoid something like what happened on January 6, 2021 more than anything.
As for Lilja, she's dark skin; I haven't seen the term gyaru being brought up in the world that XIV exists in. Last I checked Rava Viera are dark skin by default (it's the only skin tone you can choose for them); there's no pale skin for them to return to. Being able to return to pale skin is the defining feature of a gyaru. Furthermore, Viera in no way are a reference of asian culture; if a gyaru was to exist in XIV it makes more sense for it to have been a female Au ra as that's the race that has a real life parallel to asians.
As for the topic itself, yes I still support it; it would make the game a lot better. I will also create a salt business to collect the salt of those who oppose dark skin characters in FFXIV.
1. I'm not asking.
2. I'm suggesting more dark skin characters, not "diversity;" that word is just as dirty as "poc." Both far left terms which mean nothing.
3. They already added them, I just want more.
THERE ARE MULTIPLE RACES IN THE GAME LIKE HYUR, MIQOT, ROEGAYDN ALREADY
I agree. This feels like a very liberal thing to post about, especially noting the "untapped potential". It doesn't sound like anything an actual non-caucasian might say. It's unnecessary and it doesn't help anyone other than the person that feels like they're standing up for someone "less fortunate".

Okay. I'm starting to think your Titanman with all these necros. xD
It makes sense that she got paler over time. She a tan after all. Back in Heavensward, she spent an unknown amount of time trapped within the lifestream. No sunlight, so her skin would naturally lighten.
And in Shadowbringers, her unconscious body was laid up with the rest of the Scions in their headquarters with only candle light to illuminate them. Again. No sunlight. Plus, on the First. Y'shtola spent most of her time in Raktika, under the bows of those huge trees that was stated in the game to block out most of the oppressive Light constantly beaming down from the sky. That's why the Nights Blessed and their cultist counterpart lived there. Because the trees protected them from the Light and had far less Sin Eaters roaming about there as a result.

Not really, this is a fantasy game with different races of people already in the game. Yet we still want to try and push real world social agendas into a video game. Please stop.
On top of that it is a Japanese game, where they do not care about such petty Western ideologies.
When you really put it in perspective the Scions are already made of different races and different ethnic groups of those races. So to narrow everything down to the color of the character is actually the exact opposite of what you think you are advocating. It is ignorant and it is wrong. So maybe you should think about who is the actual worst in this scenario.
So again. Please stop.
