After 6 Resistance Relics...My Opinions On The DR Step!

Figured the forum would get a lot of feedback regarding this particular phase now that the last phase is live.

Yes, I have cleared all weapons past the timeworn artifact phase way before 5.5 drops. It is however, still in my opinion that the grind could’ve been nerfed by the time the last phase was added. The amount of time (and sanity) invested is akin to grinding multiple zodiac zeta relic despite being the theoretically easiest relic to grind to date.

It did not see its nerf, sadly. Perhaps in future when EW drops. It just feels silly that DRn alone drops TWO raw emotions as opposes to ONE timeworn artifact. But one could also think that the reason behind this scheme is that they’re considering players who’s not quite finished with some of their augmented law order weapon BUT has some to complete up to last phase. Therefore balancing both phases. (i.e. Raw Emotion starts from 0/15 but Timeworn Artifacts possessed is already 7/15)

Lastly, most players now are focused on leveling our honor yet somehow we get more mettle from 3 normal Zadnor fates in comparison to a 30+ minute instance? This to me is a design flaw in which I also hope they will rectify soon.

One of the QoL I’d like to see it happening. Don’t get me wrong, I like DRn & CLL as a raid. Same as Dalriada. But when one have no more interest in getting more weapons, the only incentive to go back is only for the rare drops or mettles. I tried to run CLL & DRn in other day just to clear the weekly quest and wound up disappointed with the mettle gain being very poorly scaled: 200k-ish & 600k-ish respectively. If they’re as high as 40% of Dalriada’s I’d be more inclined to run them.
