Sure Eureka was not perfect and a lot more grindy but that was intentional because players wanted something that felt like an old-school mmo where you grind a lot for your stuff. Im also not a fan of to much grind but for me Eureka was far superior to the ugly-front. I realy enjoyed the trains and the interactions with the other players and talks in say, standing a bit around with everyone while waiting for spawn or get ready for pull while seeing the big amount of players around you was what made Eureka special. Also playing Rezmage was pretty fun. I also think the Eureka Relics looked way better than the new one, my favorites where the one from the 3t zones with the white aura.

Even if Boznja is faster i cant bring myself to continue it, i was sick of the look right from the start but sticked long enough with it to atleast see the raid once for story, after that i looked up the glamour for the relic stages and decided it was not worth the trouble. For me Boznja has all the annoying features from Eureka but with out the fun part. It feels more like work, you basicly rush all the time from fate to fate and invite without slowing down a bit or taking a small break while everyone is gathering and if you are to slow you miss the fates and the points.

Sure i understand that people want their stuff fast today and the same goes for me to most of the time. But i think relics shouldnt be easy to get, they are something special and should take quite some time to complete. I would even go so far to say you shouldnt be able to complete the relic for all classes before the next expansion releases and have to deicde wich ones are the most important to you and focus on them.

Can't we all just agree that they're both horrible, and that they should go back to giving us more dungeons and trials per patch?

Even if have issues with parts of that content i would honestly say no. Its a different kind of experience from dungeons and there are players that enjoy this kind of gamestyle. People just need to understand that not everything an mmo offers is made to suite their taste. If you something don't like don't do it, sometimes there is new stuff you like sometimes not and that's completely ok because the developer wants to have something for everyone, the more different things you can offer the better. The only thing im a bit mad about is that there was no new deep dungeon this expansion.

At the end of the day FF14 is an MMO, not a single player game. The best experiences in FF14 are from social interactions. If Bozja does not foster social interactions as well as Eureka, then it is not good content.

The waiting time is what allowed people to come together and chat about their lives. Casuals wouldn't understand.

So, you want Bozja/Eureka to be the new Limsa then? Sit there, wait, and maybe get some social interactions.

My dear, no one quite wishes to socially interact with the people in this game. Why do you think most people only talk within their FC and statics?

Bozja does foster social interaction. People ask questions in shout, then they say lfg at CEs. The parties remain after that a lot and sometimes conversations happen in party chat, where you learn about eachother for up to 3 hours.

Party Finder is a good way to socially interact, so are free companies, roleplaying groups and popular city states.

    Nope.

Eureka is something that I completely avoided when it came out, like the plague. Just the concept of old school mmo levelling i something I prefer to leave in the past, not bring into modern mmos. Nostalia is nice because it's seen through pink colored lenses of the past. I got myself to finally get into it lately, and it's really meh. All you do is spam kills to level, or follow some stupid bunny. Areas don't even look pretty imho. Anemos is really pretty, but it's the one you spend the least time in (weird decision but ok), Pagos and Pyros are both ugly pieces of ice and snow, with Pyros having some fire too. Nothing pretty for sure. I haven't gotten to Hydratos yet cause it's hard to keep interest, even just enough to complete weekly challenges. And the fact that you can't group with friends cause of different levels is an absolute nope for me, it's the opposite of social. Also, from what I heard when it was current most of the people would just afk-level by leeching fates so even worse. Oh, and let's not forget all the times some random just runs by and decided to kill the pack you've been working to kill for a while, stealing all your credit and making the whole thing pointless. Very mmo-friendly yeah.

Bozja may not look the best, but at leats it has the battlefield excuse, idk what excuse those 2 Eureka areas have for looking barren tbh. And Zadnor is actually really pretty, with all those floating islands and the 2 zone is really gorgeous. I just wish they made the third zone like the second or with even more vegetation, rather than like the first. And you can just jump in, form a group, farm fates as they spawn without obligation, and groups do tend to chat and have fun, especially in CE and even more in CLL/Dalri since those actually require communication. I had such fun parties, even just grinding fates, that people are sad to leave when their timer runs out. I can group with any friend, though sometimes separating for CEs, no matter their rank, and actually help them out, and the whole place is not months of painful grind to finish.
I hated it at first, early Bozja was quite painful and slow, but nowadays I really like it all. I'm happy with the things they improved, and glad they made Dalriada pop way more often than CLL, depending on the number of people, so you don't have to wait forever. I hope they apply the same change for CLL eventually.
    Also, flying motorbikes, just saying.
Also, Eureka didn't give us anything like DR normal.
