I am a pretty patient player but I think I met my nemesis today in Amaurot.
Tank just kept walking three steps then pausing repeatedly the whole dungeon ( it didn't look like lag at all ) and pulled groups one by one, but sometimes not at all.
At the beginning he just ran to the edge and stood there for like two whole minutes while we were fighting then he kept doing this the whole dungeon basically running just in a straight line into the edge/ wall and just stood there before realizing it was the wrong way.
It felt like the run was taking years to complete so I just starting pulling the second groups and pulling them all the way back to the tank.
Same with the platforms towards the end he seemingly didn't understand what the platforms were even after he had used them and was looking for where to go ( even tho he could clearly see all of us using them ).

I basically had to tank the bosses as SAM because he stood in all of the mechanics, every single one.
Then he just started ressing at the start instead of accepting the healers ress, we carried him hard the whole way he was practically abscent from the bosses almost.
It might sound like a bot but he wasn't, because he was talking in chat.
I don't even know if he got mad at me for pulling the second group at first ( this was the last two groups before the second boss ), he said something about hitting walls lol but it was incoherent.
The healer told him to pull more repeatedly too before I even did that.

Look if ya want to pull one by one it's kinda annoying but I won't complain.
But all of that other stuff on top of it too, nah.

I was mildly surprised that in a Satasha dungeon run that the AST actually halted the run to explain to the new marauder how to use their enmity ability and overpower to keep the rest of us safe. (I was on my lancer at the time)
She was losing aggro to things and they were going after the healer and the DD. Afterwards we continued with minimal issues from then on.
I was pleasantly surprised that there was none of the "OMG this noob tank sucks! Kick her!" i would expect from the impatient PUGs in that other MMORPG.
I hope this experience extends beyond the starting dungeons.
Although I expect less patience as I venture into higher content where you should by now be expected to know your roles.

I've been spamming Eden's verse for a glamour and the only thing upsetting is people staying behind in the duty and selectively timing their rolls on drops as if the tier is current.

The people who go "you don't have to if you don't want to", or "do what what you think feels the most fun!" are the worst. Sprouts learn to not use skills cause they don't like the effect or animation!

I ran that one dungeon for HW MSQ that sounds like an artificial sweetener(Xelphatol) and had a guy helping me out with my Dancer rotation. Was pretty nice actually, was my first dungeon in that job so the advice was welcome.

Still haven't run across too much stupid. Yet. WoWs dungeon finder has scarred me and I generally dislike pugs and randos as a result, but I've been pleasantly surprised here so far.

Another factor is that's literally what the healer is there for, for the most part at least - as long as you can survive it, many people just outright don't care to fail mechanics when the healer can snap their fingers and get them back to full HP [specially if it's a WHM] and the worst part is not even healer themselves are immune to the "I don't care" mentality.

I'm honestly not sure what you're trying to say. I would expect people to do the mechanics (athough tanks..well ). As the healer my priority is myself then the tank. The DPS will get healed through unavoidable damage , if anyone is new (either to the dungeon, or a sprout) I will keep an especially close eye on them for heals, otherwise my priority is DPS.

The DPS shouldn't assume that they can ignore mechanics with impunity. That definitely goes for myself too. So no snapping of the fingers..that only works with ..well..fairy tails, genies in bottles, etc.

Today I learned in World of Darkness:

-If you tank Angra Maiyu at the edge of the arena, it makes it impossible to get the opposite debuff to avoid getting killed.
-If you're a brand new tank learning the raid and insist on tanking to 'learn', but keep spinning the first boss in WoD with his cleave, it will kill the healers who are trying to raise.
-If you get the tether and pass it on to someone for the second boss, that person will actually panic and run away instead of passing the tether to someone else.
-If you ignore even two pillars on the last boss of WoD, it will flat out kill some people.
-If you ignore some of the clouds she tries to nom, if they get close enough they just simply do a comical yeet to the boss.

Today I learned in Wiping City:

-At the start of the dungeon, if you look at the pyramid structure you can see a widdle Ozma.
-If you ignore the blue balls for the first boss her Implosion damage slowly goes up.
-If people eat 3 stacks of Gradual Zombification they're still immune to Mega Death.
-If people get assimilated by Ozma's Shade, they get gaoled until the shade dies.
-If people have the bleed debuff from Ozma, and they pass it on, group hugs end up being extremely deadly.
-If you're the main tank on the last boss, you can cleave the entire alliance if you spin her when she gets ready to use Haircut.

Edit: found this little tidbit. They never finished the wall after Amon.

Today in Paglth'an:

-Two Dancers, we'll call them K and S. Both partner me when the gate drops, I remind to partner each other. Midway in first pull, S partners K. K decides to partner the WHM instead. I remind them once again. K partners S, finally.
-Pull to the next wall, park. Notice WHM using only Cure 1 and some regens. No Holy, no DoT, no Glare, no Lilies. Ask them why they're using Cure 1 in a level 80 dungeon.
-WHM proceeds to ask if I'm joking. I ask the same, "idk, are you?"
-DNC K decides to curse me out and go "wow being hypercritical in a dungeon???" Sorry, I didn't know reminding people of basic job knowledge is hypercritical, but sure.
-WHM drops, DNC K decides to as well after gloating about how my "s***ty attitude" just "ruined my run". (buddy, I'm on a tank, my queue is instant compared to yours, so who's really laughing here?)
-DNC S drops too after not saying much of anything.

I drop, queue up for Expert again and get Matoya, have a different healer/dps drop (couple, I assume they wanted Paglth'an, who knows). Get replacement SCH and RDM along with the SAM who was left with me. We proceed to melt everything and get out in record time.

Wow, thats a new one. Someone should tell that guy that the leveling roulette ignores language preference in favor of faster ques. Most ques dont have this feature, but leveling for sure does.

I really wish he let me enough time to explain this to him but unfortunately....!
Poor healer who tried after this to tell me that all Germans aren’t like this ; if you step by here, let me tell you that I know <3 that tank was just an idiot.
