Is There Any Way to Turn Off the "music" others Play on Their Instruments?

I assume there is some sort of instrument that players can play; possibly a harp?

I have no clue what is involved in "playing" it, but some players actually make some decent sounding music, others however just make noise and when they do so while I am crafting it is annoying.

Is there anyway to turn the sound of these instruments off?
