I feel we are missing something to get more CE/Skirmishes in there. It really feels barren. I am almost max rank and have only done 1 CE and didn't even see the duel of that zone...

Some people on Reddit have tested that you need to kill 30-40ish Magitek mobs in the current zone to spawn CEs. I did not have the time to test it myself, yet
Even CLL still gets run, the only reason it wasn't for a while was because the rewards suddenly changed to make it pointless.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
Yeah, I'm not really feeling Zadnor. I think the Southern Front is actually better ironically. Maybe not visually, but everything else.

You just see something that reminds you of something you didn't liked and it has to be as bad as the previous iteration? Please, this is acting like a child not willing to even taste veggies because they look bad.
The new instance can be cleared with 4 people, problem is that the echo makes you so overpowered it's like playing any RPG with cheat codes.
You don't need a tank.
Your HP can climb up to half a million HP.
A lone DPS can do the "top side", they actually learned and put a strong limit on the number of people able to get in.
Before complaining, please actually try the content before submitting your feedback.
There are other problems in the Zadnor castrum, such as underwhelming rewards or actually getting too much coins that are mostly useless now.

Have you been in it? They did learn. I had only half the amount of people the instance required and I only bit the dust a few times becuase I got in with what seemed to be a premade from a certain YTer and our other party was only me and a few others new. People are also doing CLL still becuase of the new weekly.
Zadnor itself is not perfect but I'm enjoying it. My gripe is zone 3 feels barren and sometimes skirmishes die so fast I can be near one and barely get a silver rank. CEs don't seem to pop as much as I'd like to. Other issue is the notes and how some either require you to be lucky af or actually do duels which.... I'm not interested in. But they actually tied the area to the relic this time.
Zadnor and Dalriada are nothing like Bozja and CLL. FATEs are easily soloable even with a full instance, and CEs use a lot of recycled mechanics. They might catch you offguard, but after you see the mechs once you can turn your brain off. Dalriada is generally done by parties of 10 players, and can be done with as little as 4.
Personally dissapointed on how everything in it is easy. But oh well.
Yeah, the last boss of new castrum is really flashy and everything, but Zadnor overall.. it's just not that fun. I suppose they did actually "learn" from Bozja. They just went in a completely different direction than what I think a lot of people wanted here. They made the whole thing brain dead easy, and able to be wholly completed with barely anybody. When interest inevitably dies off there won't be a learning curve, nor should there be an issue finding players to complete it.
