I see it more as a concern for hrothgar than viera. They could still poke their ears through the hat, but considering that the hat includes 75% of the face being covered by sometype of wrap? Yea, they're definitely not going to do that for hroth....like a lot of other things! T_T

Why do I continue to play a race that brings me pain and joy at the same time...?

I had a thought...what if the cloak that appears when you merge with the reaper has no hood for viera and hroth? That would be so dumb that they'd go out of their way to make sure these two DONT wear the hood for something that is literally a part of the class. I mean, they probably will considering its a hood and they'll probably either poke their ears out of it or remove them all together (like they did hroth ears for the bozjan hoods T_T)

Anything that requires the hairstyle to be altered beyond completely removing it when you equip it is out of the question for either race, so we might all be out of luck on the Reaper hat

Another item that's supposed to be an incentive to run something that isn't actually an incentive to a group of people.

I just saw that this is another one of those hairstyle contest styles, and while looking at the quality of it I find it hard to believe they made it very long ago and have been sitting on it all this time, this has been par for the course with those styles.

I really like this one but I'm not going to Fantasia because I want it on Viera, not anything else.

I'm annoyed, but I'm even more annoyed at seeing people go "at least you'll get male Viera hairstyles" as if that's a given or would even be a good thing in general to pawn off male hairstyles because you cba.
Well, the incentive is making gil I guess, since it can still be sold, like others have said... but as an actual reward.. yeah literally worthless. It cannot be used, with no viera alternative unique style. Really it should have just been made for viera too.. I don't see anything limiting them from actually making these hairs work other than more time to adjust them - and if the hair was made a long time prior, they should have had the time to adjust them!

I actually have a fantasia sitting in my mail, but I don't really want to switch off viera, and even if I succumbed and switched this hair looks awful on miqo'te, in my opinion.

Yeah, nah. I don't want male viera styles, or at least I don't want them in place of styles that could have been. I am sick and tired of unisex styles, even on the other races, and for viera to join them... AT LEAST before if they had to be viera unique I thought we would get some nice styles when we got them.. Like stuff that actually looks good on female viera.

Id like great lengths, it looks great on viera. Id love a shorter bob, perhaps a wavy or curly one. Id love some braids and definitely some dreadlocks (I imagine it would be an easier hairstyle to keep in the woods), Id love a proper hairbun in between the ears. And a nice sleek ponytail like Hildas. Hildas hair looks amazing on viera from the mods Ive seen.

Need to keep our voices loud. Here we have the 10th hairstyle for all the other races added since the start of the expansion. A hairstyle that has been adjusted for Miqo'te to make sure it doesn't clip with their ears and yet Viera (and Hrothgar) continue to get shafted. This is not okay.

I honestly don't understand what keeps them to add Viera for styles - after - their inception.

Hrothgar... They might have an argument since their lion-shaped heads are completely different from the others. Viera, however... is a humanoid head like everyone else's.

The ears start at the top of the head, a good portion of the styles have very flat top, nothing to clip upwards through the ears.

To me they seem to be resting on a poor excuse. I can understand hats - most of them have elements that would clip through the very vertical ears - but there's no excuse for hairstyles.

Marches back and forth with sadly drooping ears as I wave my "Hair for Viera and Hrothgar" sign overhead.

Sudden thought: Hrothgar are the only race that can alter their hairstyle through the 'facial features', meaning that separating face and hair may already be impossible, and likely the only option would be to add different face/hair combos to their face tab.

I know nothing of coding so I can only assume the CC isn't designed for that many face options, but since Hroths technically have no hair tab, their CC should have a lot of ...extra space? so perhaps theirs can be set up differently - that would indirectly also mean that unless the aesthetician is also overhauled for them, the whole "Fantasia to change hair" is probably here to stay even if we had as many hairstyles as the other races.

It's speculated that's because Hrothgar and Viera were treated as a package deal, now that male Viera will be added, however, we'll see if that truly was the case.

so apparently the only option that doesn't "stress the newbies" is either pressing 1211111111, or do nothing at all.

I wonder where people even get this from honestly. There's absolutely no a single word on male haircuts being available for girls. And honestly, even if it's the case - I still think that they should adjust at least unlockable hairstyles from Mog Station and in-game content.

I'm personally a patient person and can wait as long as its needed, even if it's another two years, because I do respet the devteam and don't want them to overwork too much for the sake of couple of haircuts, but it doesn't make the fact that two races are locked from a solid chunk of glamour any more pleasant.
