Meanwhile I hate Eureka with every single fiber of my body and wish that the MMO developers who think that content is fun would just retire as torturing players with massive grind fest is not the same thing as fun.Fates/CEs scale to the number of people in the instance so it'll be fine even if it's not packed. It's also a super effective way to level 71-80 so I'm sure there will always be some amount of people in there.
That's probably way more future proof than Eureka ever was/is.
My main issue with Zanor is the zone is stupid boring and completely uninspired. We have clearly seen they can design nice zone but that place is boringggggggg and we have it to deal with for 6 months. It is basically the surface of the moon already.
Damn. Wish I had been able to get in on that.
Thanks for the info.
So, I realize we're mainly talking about Bozja, but (at risk of starting a tangent) the words "future proof" in the thread title got me thinking abour Ultimates.
The devs don't try and keep older content in prime condition (just look at how much of a roflstomp old allia center raids are. I had a friend go through Shinryu for the first time and oh man the fight is over quick as a wink), yet they've been outspoken about trying to preserve the challenge of Ultimate.
While the challenge of the older ones is already being eroded by food/pots only getting better, potency creep, being able to out gear them, etc. The thing I'm wondering about is what'll they do about our kits.
The level cap will soon be at 90, yet we'll still be doing UWU and UCOB (soon to be merely half of all ultimates) at level 70. That's 20 levels of actions and traits we'll be missing. And if the pattern continues we'll only be going into old ultimates with more and more incomplete kits as the years go on.
I wonder if they have a plan for this, and what it might be...
They don't seem keen on the idea of a level squish, though something like that would certainly help.
This is literally what they want us to do so we don’t burn out. I mean, just Square Enix alone wants to play other titles in the Final Fantasy franchise. Taking breaks to do other things is healthy.
Honestly, Zadnor seems like the first zone of Eureka/Bozja-like content where it actually feels like the devs "get it". It's not a painful journey from beginning to end. Heck, they even chop off 3 of the 4 steps after someone completes their first relic. There's some other things to pursue besides. All I can really say is...finally. FINALLY they understand.
Yeah, though to be fair it isn't really a viable option for those of us who own a house and do not wish to lose it - thus we avoid taking a break.
And then people complain there isn't enough content because the devs tell people not to subscribe and give them money to make more content.
