Female Roegadyn height slider breaks the game, breaks the code, it's hard to implement and makes their bodies look wrong (sarcasm)

Femroes do provide a counterexample, fair. But also they have a 12" height spread compared to the demands on this thread ranging from 4'10" if they're going off shortest miquote to 6'10" if they're going with tallest elezen. This doesn't even factor in people who wanted them lalafel height.

Honestly, this is the reason people should support the slider, is not there only to make monster tall bunnies, but also short ones, doesn't matter slightly taller or shorter, I doubt they will go down to 170cm, just like I doubt the will go up to 210cm.

People can keep lying themselves with fraudulent comparisons and baseless hopes, but anyone that watched the trailer will realize that they don't look short, and based on some accurate comparisons they don't seem monster tall either.

These people must be blind or trying really hard to create a reality that does not exist... The male viera trailer is out, various comparisons are out... And it's crystal clear they are not miqo'te height.

Exactly. If there's anything we can tell about their height, it's that they're definitely not going to be as short as male Miqo'te.

Even without comparisons, just looking at their proportions and the art (concept and official), it's clear they're on the "tall and lanky" side.

Consider Yoshi's statements about designing male Viera to be similar to Elezen.

On top of that, consider Mr. Happy's video summary of the most recent interview in which the team said that they didn't want to make male Viera "just tall Miqo'te". That's definitely a huge sign.



They won't be huge like Roegadyn or male Au Ra. But they're definitely not going to be as short as the Miqo'te. Looking at all the comparisons floating around, including the one that seems to the most accurate (the one with the max height Midlander), it looks like male Viera, at the very least, will have the same height as the females (meaning that males at max height will be as tall as females at max height). They might end up being taller, but at this point it's hard to tell.

Whether male Viera should be tall or short is a personal opinion, so that conversation isn't really going to go anywhere.

What we can do though, is look at the information and evidence and try to pinpoint where these guys will land on in the height range.

i mean everything is interpretation, but i see it as they will probably be around the height of the females(which lore wise would make perfectly sense)

Why is this baffling? The races have intentionally pretty vague lore, it’s unsurprising that people wouldn’t care much about it especially in regards to their OCs. Even with the example you used I could think of a couple reasons off the top of my head how that situation could fit into the little lore we have.

Sure you can. Again, this speaks more to your lack of imagination than to the person you’re scoffing at for not caring about lore. I don’t RP, I don’t have OCs, and I don’t really write. But even so, it’s not hard to think of a myriad of ways this could possibly happen, even if she were raised in Golmore. People have all sorts of culture norms and rules that individuals deviate from all of the time.

It's ok for people to put out their preferred height, it's just a matter of opinion.
My proposal as author of the OP is simply the same height slider that female Roegadyn has; copy paste it and adjust it to allow a range that covers tall (somewhere just below Elezen maybe?) and short (somewhere near Midlander). As you can see with female Roegadyn, she can be almost as short as a female Elezen and taller than male Au ra. With this, male Viera would allow players the best of both height worlds since this is the last male option to be added to the game. Not every tall person wants to be an animal (hrothgar), or demonic/oni/draconic male Au ra, or muscle (handsome, powerful, and awesome) truck like Roegadyn. Male Viera would add that well proportioned human look to the tall side as an option. The short side would get another midlander-face and proportioned body option.
