I think they should be shorter than the females. Not like dramatically so, but noticeably. Like you could still make the tallest man-bun taller than the shortest fem-bun, but generally i just think they should be shorter.

Every other race has the males at greater or equal heights to the females. One race can be the opposite for once. Not asking for Au Ra dimorphism here, i still insist that was too much.

Just my 2 cents.

Edit: Based on a previous post, their average height appears to be just taller than the tallest possible midlander which is an inch taller than the shortest possible female viera. Which i think likely implies that they will be just shorter than the average female viera.

Based on this comparison it's possible, since even if the matching is perfect there is still information we don't know, but if they were shorter it would be not really noticeable, 1~3cm, I would be ok with that, a bit shorter, still tall.

So far the most accurate comparisons point to the males being very close to the females.

Also, I made my own comparison, with my Elezen, people use what they have in hand for the comparisons, this person probably didn't have alts. Im also curios about how almost every comparison with vieras are against MAX vieras, and not min or medium, always showing a BIG miss match with the scenery and an extremely shorter male, the only one I saw against a min viera shows the male to be way taller, but I'm not sure if should give it much credibility.

With a similar slider range that female Roegadyn uses they would win both sides over. And that's the point of this thread, to get them to see that only making them short only sastifies one side of the equation. There was a sizable part of those who wanted male Viera to be a tall option for those looking to change to them.

I would absolutely love to see a new shorty race introduced that runs the gamut between fem au Ra height and falafel height.

Don't think it'll happen any time soon, but I want it anyways.

As for me, I’m planning to keep the height I currently have on my miqo’te, 170cm.


Edit: I just found out female Viera lowest height was 178.82cm, and now I really hope the males will be shorter. I wanna be tiny bunboy ;-;

It's just as good as anything else tbh. Females viera are not that tall aniway and if males have the same height: females can take the maximum if they want it, some males will take the minimum and miqote/midlander won't dissapear (it counts imo even if it's not the same races).
Female Roe and Female Elezen players are taller than many other players, it's difficult to not notice them sometimes lol

Female Viera can be between 5'10 and 6'4 which is what most would consider tall. If the men average just under that, it's not like they're manlets.

Honestly, this is the reason people should support the slider, is not there only to make monster tall bunnies, but also short ones, doesn't matter slightly taller or shorter, I doubt they will go down to 170cm, just like I doubt the will go up to 210cm.

People can keep lying themselves with fraudulent comparisons and baseless hopes, but anyone that watched the trailer will realize that they don't look short, and based on some accurate comparisons they don't seem monster tall either.

There's more space inbetween male midlander and highlander, female viera size fits perfectly into that.

i think if they considered the lore when creating them, they will be around the same height (if they follow the current dimorphism probably a little taller, if they want something a bit different maybe a little smaller) but nothing too big of a difference.
i just hope people will not freak out either way when they get released because for example many people (mostly twitter) seem to be way to certain about them being way smaller than their female counterpart. i just have female viera flashbacks.

i don‘t care either way, i would love them to be around the same height, would be a bummer if they are miqo male tall or even smaller. would i play them anyways? probably yes, i‘ve just waited way too long for them would probably waste a ton of money buying phantasias switching back and forth - because yeah... headgear and hairstyles.
