While I agree that pointing to modders isn't super helpful, SE also doesn't have the make the hairs anymore either. They can't even do the pasting-them-on part in 2 years?

Which just means theyre free to work on it on their own time, while not doing other things, and are free to allow things to not work with certain other things. Theyre free to let things clip worse than SE does, theyre free to not input hair bones that allow for the slight movement you see ingame (unless youre Gaia).

I want more Viera hair, heck, Viera was the first race I fantasia’d to with my free fantasia back when I was a sprout. And I stayed that way for a WHILE before switching to a cat girl. But conflating the two doesnt help the argument and actually HARMS it.

Yes, they are free to, but doesn't mean that they necessarily do.

No.. viera must have racial unique hairs*.. I do wonder though if the whole "racial unique" thing was more due to them just not wanting to adjust hairs for them regularly.

I understand your point and I'm no game developer I have absolutely no idea how much it takes to do those changes. Yes ofc modders are going to have more time to work on hairs and so on. But we are not speaking about a race that was released this year. Vieras and Hrothgars were released 2 years ago and until today we don't have any answer, just silence and they are still unfinished. I mean no harm but It's just frustrating.

Perfectly valid reason for being frustrated since Im sure they have received numerous questions about it and in return we're just given "Please look forward to it"...well that answer was almost 2 years ago, now we're getting no answers :^)

Throwing my two cents in. I really really hope they'll add more hairstyles for both races, this expansion has been lacking in various departments and its to no small amount because of covid, but I hope people will keep being vocal about the state both races are in its honestly unacceptable, they've already set a standard for the other races, they need to be consistent and fair to EVERY race. I was honestly horrified when they told us we would only get one of the sexes for viera and hrothgar, something so regressed for ff14.

Thanks to players feedback and not giving up the devs will finally add the missing sexes. However the customization for both is seriously lacking, it's honestly a waste to fantasia to one of them. I don't even play viera or hrothgar but this whole situation is unacceptable to me. I'm not sure what changed but previous expansions have been richer in content than shb has been and I hope this isn't the new standard for this game.

SE needs to hire more people to work on their money milking machine and ensure that the quality of the game upholds the standard that they set themselves years ago. Adding hairstyles to viera and hrothgar is a must, I can't believe people are waiting 2 years+ for this kind of thing. Especially Hrothgar, who the hell green lit this race? Honestly it's borderline criminal how unfinished they are and they should get way more backlash than they have for releasing this unfinished mess. (love you big lion boys, I truly feel for you)
