We've had ad hominem for a while now.

I know there's a lot of RP'rs around or people who want to fetishize being taller than the males but the game isn't played solely by RPrs. A lot of us just want the option to make characters that look like ourselves; on the tall side it's very hard to do that.

Tall characters have a wide range of options from a stylized bulky roe, to the body type every tall person i know is elezen (albeit maybe not executed TO PERFECTION), to handsome devils of Au Ra, to your standard human male highlanders.
Are not bunny ears and a bunny nose too inhuman for you too?

And once again what about the short characters? All they've got arthritis cats and babies with mustaches. No elegant options there.


You do realize that adding another short option will push the average height down, and will let you play your very human highlander and feel taller than even more people without feeling like "a wow monster" instead of contributing to this goldilocks arms race of trying to appease someone who just cannot find the ABSOLUTE PERFECT example of tall human.

Let me ask, what changes would you make to the five existing tall characters to "fix" them for you?

Nah, he's right. Looking at that screenshot, a max height Highlander is within the height range of second tallest race. So if you want to be tall and look like a realistic human, Highlander already fills that niche.

Even if Viera follows the same pattern as the other races (besides Lalafell and Au Ra) wrt to male vs female height, male Viera would only be very slightly taller than male Highlander. So you already have what you're asking for, unless what you want is another Au Ra situation, where the males can be much taller than the females.
