Sinzfeldt, its kinda a known problem SE been locking people out for no reason. Their new security update thing is way too sensitive or something.

It's not for "no reason" as it's clearly defined -- IP changes will lock you out because the majority of ISPs uses static IPs where there's still a handful that is dynamic even while browsing the internet.

its working as intended. SE made it so if the account is logged on from a different IP, it will lock the account. Its because of all the hacking still going on in ffxi.

To not get this messaged use the security token and keep it on.

It isn't a problem though, it takes about 3 minutes to sort out tops and has only ever happened to me once. The only reason it is a "problem" here is because the op is borderline downsyndrome.

Thanks for the clarification, It has never happened to me before. I take it it only tracks the IP when you log into the game, not the forums cause I log into the forums on my cell phone which uses a different IP than my computer and I have not been locked out.

Although, now that I think about it I'm moving on Sunday and that means I will probably be locked out when I move since I will have a different IP when I log into the game from my new house. Good thing I have my email linked .

Entitled to what? Don't know what you mean big guy. I'm just asking for more information if anyone has it. I made a post that was fallacious and since I was wrong I'm hoping someone who knows will clear this up since it may directly affect me when I move.
