Viera and Hrothgar Megathread

Asking about viera hairs is a heated topic I guess. God forbid, anyone tells them hrothgar aren't happy they have to fantasia to change to their one other hair.

It’s possible there was someone there who was waiting to ask a question about the hair, but we won’t know unless the answers he gives via email are ever released publicly. Though judging from the small sampling of questions they did end up getting to, you’re probably right.

Two were interesting (imo) “How do you name the expansions?” (Yoship used almost half the allotted time for this one...) and “how do you decide what glamour gets put into the game?”

I'm really excited for male viera, but if they allowed all races or hrothgar to change their faces on the aesthetician, I'd be tempted to remain a hrothgar. Must be nice to change your face every once in a while...

I hope one day they expand the functions of the aesthetician and allow us to at least change eye color, but hopefully all options of the character creator. They should leave fantasia for gender / race / clan change.

I think asking them to add the ability to change your eye color via the NPC is asking a bit much...because logically, the aesthetician is meant for you to change something about your character that can be changed at free will like IRL (hairstyles, tattoos, facepaint, etc) where as needing fantasia is meant to change something about your character that is hard, if not impossible to change about yourself (you skin color, your race, your sex, etc etc). Thats just the way I see it

Au Ra can already change the limbal rings in their eyes via the aesthetician. Just pretend that he knows a guy who invented contact lenses or something.

I said eye color separate from the other stuff, because on one interview, when asked about expanding the asethetician (because at the time wow had expanded theirs massively) yoshi-p said that our asethetician can only change easy stuff because of the lore, easy stuff like hair color and hair style, and eye color because it would be like changing contact lens... I don't think he realized his game doesn't have that functionality, but it got me excited because it seemes like a simple thing he could add!

Being able to change eye color would be amazing, I'd coordinate eye and hair color, and would change eye color to match my glamour style, and stuff like this. It would already be a boon for customization and that's only one of the choices in the character creator.

SMH: they can change the outer ring color of their *EYES*, but I can't change to my one other hair....nothing but despair awaits me now T_T
