In b4 it's required to progress through MSQI am eagerly looking forward to the scene where Fourchenault and the twins have an argument that ends with Fourchenault realizing how much he regrets letting them spend so much time with pop pop.
Actually, I wonder. Ishikawa, I believe, somewhere said that players should go back through Coils as it’s one of the pieces of content that’ll play a role in Endwalker. Is Phoenix gonna come up or make an appearance? Perhaps the fact that an Archon became a primal may act as a deadlock breaker.
Unsynched, which means not doing it through Duty Finder, and possibly with a few more issues due to the stat squish (which will make us weaker against level 50 enemies, since it only starts squishing enemies at well above that).
So a fresh 50 who wants to complete the Coils raids if they were hypothetically required would need at least two people at max level to carry them through it.
I've been hoping for an easier version of Coils that can be played through Normal Raid Roulette for the longest time, but I don't think the devs have the time to rework it all.
The translator completely missed it, but Ishikawa also made a crack during the Live Letter about Nael deus Darnus being the real bottleneck. Unlike most later raid bosses, you can't really outgear her instakills. Bahamut Prime can be comfortably solo'd by a level 80 PLD, Nael needs minimum four people who understand meteors and fire/ice stacking.
(That said, I will happily provide carries to anyone who makes it to Gilgamesh after the cross-datacenter patch goes live.)

You just need 2 for Nael. Don't even really need to know the meteor mechanic if one is a healer, just the golem mechanic. The translator completely missed it, but Ishikawa also made a crack during the Live Letter about Nael deus Darnus being the real bottleneck. I did Nael solo with the SAM (was 520 Ilvl, below that point I always failed at the "tower" phase) - so.. if you have SAM leveled up try it!
PLD ilvl 520 can solo it but you have to be precise with your rotation after that 47% phase change
Dunno if it counts as story speculation, but I predict that the final fight of the 6.0 MSQ (against Zodiark or Hydaelin if they do the old switcheroo) will be one of either:
- A big scale trial of 24-48 players. Delubrum's purpose was to test the waters for this.
- The original Beast Tribes will assist us summoning their primals (Ifrit, Garuda, Titan, Ramuh, Leviathan) during the fight to attack/assist us with mechanics. So far we've enlisted the Kobolds and the Amalj'aa to our cause.
Instances like Delubrum only work because you have things like Lost Actions and Essences to make up for if you don't get grouped with a normal dungeon/raid set-up. Also, you can't put instances like that in the Duty Finder because of their weird set up so you need to provide a consistent incentive to get people to keep doing it. The closest thing that they could do to what you're suggesting is make another dungeon like Praetorium but I don't think they're ever gonna make something like that again given how it ended up.Dunno if it counts as story speculation, but I predict that the final fight of the 6.0 MSQ (against Zodiark or Hydaelin if they do the old switcheroo) will be one of either:

Also, Beast Tribes are only our allies as long as they don't summon their primals. Just because they're our allies now doesn't mean they can't get (re-)tempered by summoning another Primal.
Truth be told, I want the final battle to be a solo duty. I understand that it flies in the face of having the Crystal of The Wanderer in our possession, but I feel it would be best to summon our reflections and/or past incarnations of ourselves to end a threat and protect the people we have come to know by settling the problem ourselves. Like Azem tried to do at the end.
Maybe a bit edgy, but I don't care. It is not called Endwalkers. It is called Endwalker.
Just my opinion. Won't lose sleep if you don't like it.
