Expecting a new leaf bard to Esuna - or even know what it is at that point - when you yourself are level 60 and not a new player, is... kind of just shrugging off an important skill of your class out of laziness. Especially when reminded of it.
Granted if it had just been the bard getting hit with it, sure, maybe they should take care of themselves if they're aware of it. But when you aren't using Esuna on basically anyone - yourself, the tank, the bard - it's not really that excusable lol.
I can play a little, but umm, my latest roll is a sprout, hasn't finished Stormblood even, with a level 80 DNC and a level 78 PLD and level 71 SCH... the XP is insane. The game rushes you to 60 - really rushes - before you really get a chance to learn anything.

I've noticed a fair number of people using bots to max out all of their jobs on the free trial before they buy ShB, so that could explain why level 60s in particular have a tendency to be mediocre.
Honestly, I feel the onus is primarily on players themselves to stop and take the time to learn their class and their skills as they go. Though, I've also always been in support of expansions to the Hall of the Novice - different tiers that crop up per x amount of levels to teach you some more things about mechanics or job expectations, that sort of thing. The game definitely could do with some additional tools to help people, no denying that.
Still ultimately falls to players, however. Sadly most don't really want to take that small bit of time to understand and learn, even when their inexperience or utter refusal to improve begins becoming a major detriment to the other 3/7/23 players they're thrown with.

Why the hell did my last void ark run start talking about politics?
Oh I completely agree. But my point was - as a level 80 DNC / 78 PLD and a bunch of others still with my sprout icon over my head I can understand how a new player just following the MSQ will be 60 and pushed into vault or steps of faith a week after starting.
The game rushes you, and the rotation can change dramatically in days. SMN and it's trances as you level, as an example.
I don't think it's fair to put too much blame on a person 20 levels under the level cap. (if they are willing to take advice).
Same DC as me.. I wonder if you got the two arguing people I had in Prae the other night fighting over extreme politics. I think it's their troll on the other players. When asked about it they admitted they like to fight with each other.

Crying in the club. Probably should have left because man it felt DIRTY giving people labelling a practice party as a farm party their clear but man. I just wanted a chance at seeing the dragon. ;-;

I've had people do this when trying to farm on an alt, so everything went smooth.
The two people who needed clears died repeatedly. They couldn't have been at more than Phase 2 prog. They'd die to knockback in phase two, constantly being hit by bits in phase two, wiped to second numbers once because dps was low and apparently repeating what you did for first numbers is too complicated for some folks. To top it off, cherry on top was that one of them was my coheal so I'm sitting there at points, out of Lilies, all my OGCDs on CD, having to use Medica II into Medica for the back to back raidwides because they're still OOM from being raised. I distinctly recall the RDM, one of the two who needed the clear, using LB3 at like 15% before we had to hop over and killing not only themselves but causing a wipe because it just spiralled from there.
Got them their clear, but at what cost? I left and rejoined a second party that went infinitely better. At least the second party, while slow on DPS, was consistent about doing mechanics correctly. It's Crystal, I've accepted killing the boss before or shortly after towers is a pipe dream that I've seen happen once. I'd at least like to kill it cleanly though. I'll take longer fights if the people doing them can actually DO the mechanics. Just being thrown into my first trap party has me heated.
