MEGATHREAD: Requested Hairstyles & Facial Hair

I wish they'd gender unlock the FFXIII hairstyles. I would love to have my character wear Lightning's hairstyle, personally, and I think Snow's would be great for a more rough and tumble style female character.

Bringing this thread back for a question: I noticed the midlander model in the fanfest Sharlayan and Radz-at-Han had the Meteor stubble...is this the first time we’ve seen that on an actual model like that? I looked at old Crystarium footage but couldn’t really make it out.

Just kind of wondering if they might have figured it out or not?

The gameplay trailer WoL has had that look since at least post-Stormblood.

It's almost certainly a custom face model based on the standard Midlander appearance, rather than a sign that they've worked out how to add it to the standard faces.

I want a thick side braid, that has two variants one where the braid tail rests on the left shoulder and one where it rests on the right. I would prefer it go so far as the belly button or just a fat caterpillar/fishtail braid that just barely falls beyond the shoulder- with fly away hairs.

Give us an option to just flip hair styles. It would literally double the perceived amount of hair styles. Just a little check box that makes the fringe/braids/detailing flip sides.

Also, unlock more of the hair styles across the races and genders. While newer styles, and more varied styles would be amazing, just reusing assets already on hand and sharing them to other character models would be nice, and I assume a good middle ground to save time but still give people more options while development focus is still on a whole new expansion. There are several styles on Hyur and Miqo'te that I would love to have on my elezen.

The option of flipping hairstyles would be a nice start!
There are a few au ra specific hairstyles I'd like for my Miqo'te

Aside from existing ones- new ones I'd like to see introduced are long hairstyles, some wavy, some braided, up-do's & buns- Au ra, Elezen & Miqo'te friendly hairs (like it actually looks like it fits their race, elezen look like pinheads with short hairsyles)
Hairstyles really similar to Gaia's & Ryne's- I love that they have bangs that cover their forehead & the rest of the hair looks good as well
Just about every hairstyle we have access to has an issue, it's either I like the bangs but the rest of the hair is really poorly designed or looks bad since it's shared across races & doesn't fit well

I'd like more hairstyle variety or styles related to original Final Fantasy characters like Tifa, Zell, Irvine, Lulu or Garnet as well
