Now to stay on topic, I will play them regardless, as long as I can reflect my height (6.1) on them I'll be happy, but I really don't see a problem with options, imposing limitations on the other hand tends to make way more ppl unhappy.

The official art makes them seem tall, this is the direction they should take (as well as having a short option using a very lengthy height slider)

It is because they are going to be of a similar height, and most probably will have a similar slider range.

This CRITICAL thread is also hilarious because the height slider for customization is going to be the least of your issues. Join us in the Hroth/Viera mega thread, because if they didn't care enough about unlocking changing your hair from fantasia, then they sure as hell won't care about inching up your height slider.

The height matters more to some of us than the hair/hats; moreover, that's a separate topic. This is more critical to me.

Personally, I think it's pathetic that the mere suggestion of having one playable male race that might max out slightly shorter than (or at exactly the same height as) their female counterparts is driving some people up the wall. You could play literally any other race in the game if that bothers you. What about players who want the opposite dynamic? What if I want to tower over every man for once? I literally don't get that option with female characters in this game––even maxheight femroes can't be taller than their male counterparts. If you think being "forced" to play a character who might be shorter than the opposite gender of other members of their race is so appalling, how do you think people who play female WoLs feel?

Aren't female Roegadyn the least played race/gender combination currently present in-game?

Personally I'm glad that male Viera weren't designed to be exceptionally niche looking. I wanted another tall, classically handsome option for male characters and we've gotten just that. I have zero interest in Hrothgar due to how oversized they are, to say nothing of the fact that they're not at all conventionally attractive.

I think that it'd be pretty bizarre for both male Hrothgar and male Viera to be niche options.

How is being in a completely average height range for characters in this game a "niche" option just because the women might be able to be the same height or marginally taller? Even if male Viera are shorter/the same height as the females, they're still "tall" characters.
