TL;DR Durandal doesn't like muslims

People can argue this all they like, but every great military hero had an opponent. It could be said that they "don't like" their opponent, though chances are it's less of a personal grudge and more because war demands it. I.e. I don't believe Roland was a vigilante leader who persecuted Muslims simply because they were Muslims. In Chinook's post, please note that "In the poem, Roland uses the sword to hold off an[sic] hundred-thousand-strong Muslim army long enough for Charlemagne's army to retreat into France." Not "In the poem, Roland uses the sword to spill the blood of hundreds of thousands of Islamic women and children to appease his personal quotas." It's possible that he did absolutely despise anything to do with the Islamic faith and was set on beating it to a bloody pulp; nonetheless, "hold[ing] off [a] hundred-thousand-strong Muslim army" is no small feat. I'm sure the name was chosen, not because of it's anti-Muslim sentiments, but because of that incredible feat.

"Zozor" <--- This is one of the worst names for a character I've ever encountered. I understand that he needs to name his character something but in a lifetime of games I've not spoken a word that caused my mouth so much distress as Zozor. It's exactly the sort of word that people who don't play MMOs laugh at and people who do play MMOs are ashamed to say out loud. If I said it on a bus I'd feel fat and I'm sure my skin would get blotchy.

It may be OK for the Rabanastre people but for us on Cornelia I'd have to protest. Surely a different name would be more appropriate. Next time you see him ingame point at him and laugh with him.
