The reason eyes turn from silver to brown is because when you make them a certain grey color, it reflects back whatever the surrounding color is and this happens with the Warrior of Light as well. The grey looks as if it's blue and it usually reflects back blue from the sky and the environment, but it can vary a lot depending on the lighting.

Lighting may play a small part in the colors being slightly different, but not to the degree Thancreds have been. First they are brown, then one silver one brown, then both silver, then both hazel, then one hazel one brown. Admittedly hazel and brown are close enough that lighting could be called into question but silver still makes no sense.

Then there are the "real life" applications. Granted, irl, we don't have aether, but irl if your eye gets an injury that causes its color to lighted, it physically/naturally can't go back to a darker color. Additionally, as someone who has silvery eyes irl too, I can say with certainly that they can never appear brown. While it is true that the environment and lighting we are in can make our eyes appear different colors, silver eyes cannot look brown in any proper lighting. Our eyes absorb light and reflect it back out, that's why we have different colors, because the reflection is happening inside our bodies.

Ultimately, I think the answer Ishikawa gave is probably the best we'll get, even if logically it doesn't make much sense. It's nice it was addressed though.

I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

They even change that much in the Endwalker trailer itself. Even in the same scene different parts of the eyes transform from brown to how they look in ShB cinematic.

If it's just different in the cinematics that may be the rendering software that's used for them.
