I'm personally of the mind that the devs have given us enough to "know" what they're basically going to look like and with the confirmation that they've been working on them, it makes all that in game evidence even more rock solid than it already was. Hopefully we get an NPC and even more art soon in the final Bozja patch.

As for timing, there's nothing to be done about it. At this point it's anywhere between 6.1 and 7.0, and I truly don't think they would bother telling us about it this early if it was something they expect to get out in 7.0 ... but that's just an unfounded guess.
So yeah, it could be better, but I'm riding the joy wave.

Yes, I'm referring to that. I've yet to see the devs half-ass their lore, as we know it to be they have been actively working on Female Hrothgar and for some reason decided to show historical art that directly features them and even shows the difference between them and the a Femroe in the story (back when she wasn't the queen). Would be strange to go through that effort just to have them pop up looking completely different, so I don't expect them to be jacked like a male body builder as some here want and I don't expect them to be Au Ra tiny. Highlander/ Viera like seems to be the deal.

I expect them to have the body type of the Femroe Bozja Queen. I've yet to see a better explanation as to why she looks like a normal Femroe in the mosaic before taking in the Hrothgar Queen primal energy yet has a completely different body afterward (nor why she has glowing cat eyes as well ... if not for the whole Hrothgar Queen Primal energy thing). And on top of that her body matches the Hrothgar in that mosaic art and has all the difference to a Femroe body that they are shown to have. These things aren't an accident, the devs know exactly what a Femroe looks like in that type of clothing and changed her for a reason.

So to me, that's what I expect them to look like body wise. Head? That's more tricky and I'm not nearly as worried about cause I know the devs are good at that. I personally expect a much flatter face than the males, but it's anyone's guess until we see one. I'm fine regardless, if there's anything these devs have proven it's that they know how to make things pretty.

Ahh I get what you mean. I was expecting them to be kinda big like female roe. As for the snout thing, they might have smaller or somewhat flatter features since they're female like you said. You're right about them knowing how to make things pretty. They really did prove themselves, so I think people can be a little more optimistic about it.

Ehh, a "waste of resources" is a call for SE to make. Someone will always enjoy something. There is a such thing as a "missed opportunity" though. Taking something unique and nitch and making it so that people who WOULD like the core concept have to deal with high barriers of inter to play it very much works against the point of going through the effort to add them. Like ... yeah, I've seen Hrothgar wearing 2B outfits before, so I'm sure there's some people who would enjoy playing Females who looked like jacked dudes with boobs. But is pleasing maybe 1-2k people by making the option an aggressive "NO!" from every other person who would play a furry female worth it? Could you imagine how many fewer people would play Male Viera if they had pot-belly dad bod or what Female Viera numbers would look like if they had the fat miqo'te bod?
It's unique to the game, and I'm sure there would be some who like it ... but it would be a missed opportunity to appeal to a much larger number of players and take away the option for more things that more players would like.

Yeah, they know what they're doing. I know I'm a unique player in some respects (outside 3-4 head gears there's nothing these races can't wear that I care about ... and I can stick to a short hairstyle forever so long as it looks good, so I don't even care about the hair stuff) so seeing the body stuff put my mind at ease. They've earned my optimize, and it's clear they know why Femroe and Elezen females are so rare.
