Ehhh I guess it's good to keep your expectations measured. They did such a good job with male viera, though. So I believe they'll also do an excellent job with female hrothgar. The art these past few pages seemed really nice, too. I'm not super into beast characters myself, but it's kind of growing on me.

Its nice and cute to hear confirmation they are coming, but there is no timeframe, not even a vague hint. So, sorry to be pessimistic, but I have nothing tangible to look foreword to, not even some concept art to give me hope or even an idea of where they might take the design. Just...something yknow? Fanart isn't gonna do it for me, I want to know where the devs stand on the design, because thats what Im gonna see in game.

I guessssssssssss lol I can't imagine they would be vastly different from the fanart tbh On a side note, I'm looking at kimari ffx model and comparing it to a random hrothgar model. I'm noticing that the hrothgar model has a slightly longer snout (there are face options that have shorter/longer snouts). So I'm thinking that at the very least, there will be different snout lengths for the females too.

I'd say expect them for 7.0. Expecting them earlier than that is asking to be disappointed. Look how long we've waited for hairstyles for viera and hrothgar with nothing to show. I think these big additions will only come in expansion releases... and if they do come earlier, it would be a pleasant surprise, but it's highly unlikely.

Maybe, or they can go the opposite direction and they will have short housecat faces, or even human faces and basically look like The Admiral.
We'll see.

I'm personally of the mind that the devs have given us enough to "know" what they're basically going to look like and with the confirmation that they've been working on them, it makes all that in game evidence even more rock solid than it already was. Hopefully we get an NPC and even more art soon in the final Bozja patch.

As for timing, there's nothing to be done about it. At this point it's anywhere between 6.1 and 7.0, and I truly don't think they would bother telling us about it this early if it was something they expect to get out in 7.0 ... but that's just an unfounded guess. Fact of the matter is that the longer it takes, the more work it's going to require and longer it's going to take to stabilize development time for the game so that gives me hope.
So yeah, it could be better, but I'm riding the joy wave.

I think we have a general idea for what they look like, yeah. It's not a big mystery like male viera was. What do you mean by evidence, though? Do you mean that mosaic of the hrothgar queen?
