    Relax glamour restrictions

I would like glamour restrictions on some gear to be relaxed. For example many gear sets released as a group look very similar, and keeping them for glamour takes up an excessive amount of space if you play multiple jobs. Here is what I propose:

For left-column gear (Head, chest, hands, legs, feet):
Fending, Maiming, Striking, Scouting, and Aiming gear can be displayed by all Disciple of War jobs and classes.
Healing and Casting gear can be displayed by all Disciple of Magic jobs and classes.
Crafting and Gathering gear can be displayed by all Disciple of the Hand and Disciple of the Land classes.
Class/job specific gear (I.e. rewards from completing class/job quest lines) remains restricted to its given class/job.

For right-column gear (Earring, necklace, bracer, rings):
All gear can be displayed regardless of class or job.

    For weapons and off-hands:
All restrictions remain as they currently are.

Here's a mockup tooltip I made (Note the change to class/job restrictions, directly under ITEM LEVEL 510):

I do agree. When a single character can be every job, the only limitation should be on the weapon equipped to define current job - as is tied to the abilities doesn't need further explanation.

The only instance where you hear people argue against gear being visually worn is due to PVP.

Considering no one actually cares about the Feast. Or the hundreds that do (and I invite people to look into how many play that, as opposed to the sheer greater number that don't - point being, is I'm still correct) those few should not be the reason to hold back how how we customise our look.

At the very least, Disciples of War / Disciples of Magic as the only barriers. If they want to simplify their database by getting rid of belts, do this also. Want a piece? Farm it.

If we relax glamour restrictions and give everyone more glamour options... perhaps we can also get more space for our glamour gear or a glamour log of some kind?
Otherwise man would a feature like this be a double edged sword...

Seems like a good middle ground. Not needing to keep multiple versions of the same armour model in the glam dresser would be nice.

I would even say, pls remove all the jobs glam restrictions. Unless it's pvp set and AF gear. Let us wear doh/dol glam too

I really like this idea! I'd like less restriction for glamour in general, I know enabling all gear for both genders is more difficult because the models are different, but all gear should be able to be glamoured by any class, maybe excluding AF gear.
