    Hm, Dragonsong War anyone?
Also the fact that Elezen of Ishgard mercilessly slaughtered a peaceful tribe of Xaela that were just looking for a new home away from Garleans.

If you're gonna point out negative sides of each race then do so for Elezen too^^

Same as... literally any other race?
Plus, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that.

And I say this as a Miqo'te married to an Elezen :'D

Why are they a blasphemous stain? Well... SE took away their junk in the trunk.

Should be at 3:27 to see that Elvish women are supposed to have curves and a noticeable butt!

For this reason their grace is marred. That said, I am always crushing on my friends' who play them. Usually their drivers have good taste in what they wear, and in what makeup/lipstick option to use too. Would take an Elvaan -1 over a Miqote or Au Ra any day. Now if we compared them to Roegadyn ladies though... ooof, it gets harder.
I saw the video and was like: Hmmm... They don't look as bad as I remember Elvaan to look last time I looked them up. Their proportions look actually... decent. Why did the downgrade happen in FF14?

But then I looked Elvaan up again and was reminded of why the FF11 character creator was considered such a scam back in the day. Here's one specimen.

These necks are some nightmare fuel D:

Elezen is the race people like to look at but never want to be one, sort of like Roegadyn. I'd definitely be an Elezen if the males had more reasonably unique faces. That bug eyed boy face option still gives me nightmares, always staring into my soul.

I mean, technically speaking, Keepers are still polyamorous, just not the same way as Seekers are.
In case if you did Moogle Deliveries quests, there is one that brings a spotlight to some of Moon Keepers lore, and one of the dialogue texts that NPC we work for says this:

That man, the one who calls himself the king of the Coeurlclaws. King Poach, growing fat on stolen game, stolen family… The men of the Keepers of the Moon live a wanderer’s life, for they are at their best in small doses. Women and children keep the hearth, ply various trades, and accept game and visits from the menfolk.

But King Poach denies women this gods-given rule over matters of family. He forces women to live with him, forbids them to see their sisters, mothers, aunts. Most unnaturally, they lie with him and him alone! He calls this abomination of a family the Coeurlclaws, and thumbs his nose at the elementals’ will. He goads his poachers to slay a Wailer, to bind them to the gang… So terrible are their crimes that all Keepers of the Moon feel the suspicion and fear cast their way.
That said, while Moon Keepers are more about being organized in small families - those aren't families in traditional western sense. They're far more akin to, ironically enough, Viera, with women living together and men being mostly apart at hunt or adventure and coming back for "trade, game and visits". That's how it is at the very least in Eorzea in Shroud and Gridania.

    ---

As for the post itself, all races are pretty in their own way. Elezens may not have an apperance that people are more used to see in other MMOs, but they're looking good neverthless. I enjoyed them a lot when I did play one.

She is pretty, it also helps that her neck is hidden. If Elezen had shorter necks and better running animation, more would have played them.

Most of the armor in FFXI had neck based ornamentation, so every race in XI has longer necks than they should. Granted it is kind of a lot worse on Elvaan, but hey, they still had the booty in game, and that's what matters!

Due to neck ornamentation, you'll never really notice unless you look for it. It's still kinda true in FFXIV too.

Then keep in mind its graphics engine was a product of 2001/2002... it's really not that bad. Especially with their legs that go all the way up :Q,,, with extra thicc thighs!

I agree OP. That is until they start their walk and the animation just... Well! You know what it looks like!

Elezen are amazing, just don't ever move with one *_*

It's quite simple. Polyamory is cringe, therefore Miqo'te adhering to their traditions are cringe. Elezen practice the chad monogamy, and have a true sense of loyalty. Although I do admire the brutal simplicity of the Xaela. Their uncompromising culture reminds me of the Duskwights in a way.
