After looking at the Male Viera, idk, Im not personally feeling to optimistic about how FemHroth will look...

Just out of curiosity, why not? Do you think they look too dissimilar from female Viera?

I have no interest in playing one, but I think the male Viera look great and very cohesive with the general Viera aesthetic.

I'd imagine they would go the same route for female Hrothgar.

Yeah, seeing how male viera are basically female viera but in males, in that they look identical in asthetic (opposite to au ra) Im hopefull fem hrots will also look like mlae hrots but in female, and have a really similar beastly asthetic and animations

Don't know how i feel about "later" because that can pretty much mean anything from Endwalker release to 7.0, which if it was not before 7.0 .. would just be .. gah..

But well at least we got reaper so 1 of 2 things i really wanted.

Can always be proven wrong, but Im convinced "Later" means 7.0. Which irritates and bums me out.
Ill get over it, but I kinda wish they could have held back on Male Viera until after they also finished Female Hrothgar, so they could be released at the same time like they did the 1st time with Male Hrothgar & Female Viera to Make both camps happy, instead of 1 camp happy and just a "Promise that the other is coming later."

Yeah-Yeah-yeah we at least have confirmation and pretty much a promise that its happening....but just like the Hair situation, we have no mention of a timeframe.

Yeah, if they'd made male Viera some raging muscle roid-beast or a teeny tiny waif I'd be worried about female Hrothgar as well. But as they are they make a good pair and look like they belong to the same race.

MY personal reason is, they just dont look how I personally imagined them, with what little information we ever got about Viera Males, it painted a very different picture for me. I did think they would be bigger and more masculine warrior types, not what they are now. Honestly, they look fine overall, not like I Hate how they look, its just not how I pictured them.
And so Im wary of the same effect happening where I have a good idea/my own vision of how I think Hrothgar Females will look & will make me happy....and it wont happen. I can reasonably be nervous that they will look a way I dont want them to look. The reveal of the Viera males just solidifies that can happen.

Oh sure, wasn't trying to downplay your worries, just wondering what specifically about how male Viera look made you worried about female Hrothgar.

With it being standard anime fare to make female beast races more humanized and less beastly I'd say it's still a decent worry until we actually see them, and there's always a chance they won't look exactly as you imagined them.

I also expected male Viera to be more muscular because that's just the stereotypical way to go about it, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that if the women can be fierce jungle warriors in their own right and not look overly muscular then the men don't either.

I think it actually bodes well for female Hrothgar that they're willing to explore slightly less stereotypical approaches to the counterparts.

Fingers crossed that you'll enjoy how they end up looking in the end.

The confirmation is nice, so I'm happy to hear they are coming. I'm curious to see what they will look like in the end, but all in due time.

I'm happy female hroths are coming! It's confirmed, now we just need to wait. They'll probably come in 7.0, as I think it's unlikely a race will drop mid expansion. But I'll look forwards to every live letter for some news on that!

I know one must always temper one's expectations, but I do find it funny that after all the "You'll never get M-Veira!" and "Good luck waiting for 7.0 and beyond!" They surprise us and they show up in 6.0, yet we're already back to. "Bah! Don't expect anything! F-Hroth's for 7.0 if you're lucky!" and "They'll never surprise us! ... y'know... like they just did... so there!" The cycle continues.
