Do you think that underground zone is where sharlayans intend to survive the end of the world?
Edit: I'm too slow on the phone...

Trpimir Ratyasch's Way Status (7.4 - End)
[ ]LOST [ ]NOT LOST [X]MASS PRODUCING SHIT FOR THE MOON BUNNIES
"There is no hope in stubbornly clinging to the past. It is our duty to face the future and march onward, not retreat inward." -Sovetsky Soyuz, Azur Lane: Snowrealm Peregrination

I mean, even if its not (it more than likely isn't), that floating island is eerily reminiscent of Zeal. It only makes sense for Square Enix to reuse existing ideas and designs to use as subtle nods and call backs to older games.
Floating land mass = Zeal
Fandaniel = Queen Zeal
Traveling to other timelines/realities = Epoch and the Chrono Cross
The possible use of Domes to avoid the holocaust caused by meteors of suspect origin = Parasitic entity the feeds on the life of a planet that shoots literal comets out of its back and destroys a world while the survivors use domes as shelter in said world. How funny.
Easy, Chrono Cross deals almost exclusively with alternate realities. Considering we supposedly (I almost doubt it) just altered our own timeline, and it was hand waived that the old timeline in which we died was simply cut off and set adrift, an entity like Lavos being the reason the fracture happened (which let us directly affect time) kind of fits a little too well. The best ending in Trigger leads directly into Cross. Lavos itself latched onto Schala in the Darkness beyond Time and began creating split realities to keep itself alive. Becoming the Dream/Time Devourer, a crystalline monster that had a young blonde woman in a white dress bound to it no less. Big hmm moment for me there when I saw the 3.2 patch art.
I don't trust Hydaelyn or the narrative that the Ascians are pushing. I think a parasite has literally wrapped its claws around the very weapons used to stop it. It's just a matter of time till we need to address that issue.
Forgive me the pictures. I don't like having to add so many, but I really needed the visual aids.

Just my opinion. Won't lose sleep if you don't like it.
