Is there any sort of guestimate on when they're going to fix it so there's a way to turn off all the flashing? It's worst at Red Girl, but Inflorescence has a few nasty ones too.
Getting a migraine every week for a coin is Not Fun!

They are cool effects if you don't have any related medical issues, but I'm sure they are an issue for some. Whether they fix or adjust them or not though...time will tell. Might be something they bring up in the next LL if they see it as a problem that needs fixing.
You can pile up your peril together in this thread (please, because smaller threads are rarely noticed): https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...adigm-s-Breach
If the Tower raid is giving you issues becuase of the animations in there, consider joining hunt trains during the week for nuts to get the upgrades instead that way until they (hopefully) fix it.
I doubt they'll fix, but I hope they will learn from it..
Its not only the flashes, but the brightness in general, the elevator and the million tiny squares in the background.
It reminds me of Lakeland in the beginning of the story, when it was still extremely bright.
It gave me a headache everytime when I had to be there.
Where can you trade in the nuts for the coins? I have probably 2,000 of the things and am happy to exchange them instead of risking the flashing tower thing.
Go to the nut exchange in The Crystarum (next to the nut board) or in Eulmore (that middle area of the entire building) and you can get accessory upgrade for 2000 nuts, and the left side gear upgrade for 3000 nuts.
