Unaddressed Continual Harassment in PvP content

There has been a massive surge in harassment and threats being thrown around the PvP content and square has left a blind eye to the destruction it has been causing. Players paying to have accounts put on the board (Direct RMT) as well as Win trading and consistent harassment in tells across multiple alternate accounts. Weeks onto months onto years now square has been absent not punishing a single offending account or player. Victims having insurmountable evidence that square refuses to take, be it Stream Clips, Chat logs, Discord logs, or Youtube videos showing each player admitting to or perpetrating their harassment or cheating.

Recently we have gotten to the point where physical threats are starting and all square has told the Victim is "Block them and avoid the player" as if they don't understand how PvP content works. You cant avoid a player in a PvP setting short of quitting.

Nothing is being done in a timely matter if at all. We do not know what we can do, as this has been boiling over for years now and all we can assume is square abandoned us and would rather us quit the game than moderate it.

They've shown nothing but the contrary, harassment in the PvP community has been spiking since shadowbringer's launch, and we've seen nothing but 'block and avoid' as their response. What are we suppose to think?

An update to the current situation as there still has not been action taken. The victim is being stalked in game with a clique of players manipulating the PvP queues to allow them to throw matches and tank the victims rank.
They are also harassing the player out of game with threats of Doxxing. This has been the worst instance of toxicity in this community and the harassers are continually boasting about how they will get away with no punishment.

The problem is with platforms like Discord which are outside of SE and the game, where people can and do say whatever and there's nothing GMs can do.

I still don't understand why you can blacklist someone and then get paired up with them in matchmaking.

I wonder how much things will change after discord is added to play station...
Probably not at all. People doing bad things will just use a different platform. Maybe resurrect Skype.

Nothing will change, because square refuses to moderate its own game.
i've had to report 4 griefers in 5 games TODAY alone

Not to mention that I've had to send so many reports this season alone i cant see how many I've had to make, the history section cant track that many reports, with several regarding the same person.
How does square think they will make a new PvP system when they cant even maintain the integrity of their existing ones and are OK with the toxic community pushing people to self harm.

Oh ya... I guess update on the victim I was talking about... That is happening now.

As we have seen, people have been punished including up to a ban for things said and done on twitch. So why not other social platforms?
And why cant we provide the Hours upon hours of recorded streams on twitch to get these players punished?

And this is Ranked PvP, you cant make a system where blacklisting would take a player out of your queue.

Oh that's interesting... I didn't know that doing something on Twitch could get you banned in FFXIV. I don't use twitch anyway so it doesn't affect me but that's curious that Twitch would be grounds for termination and Discord wouldn't. My only guess would be because it's harder to fake video than create a username in Discord.

There have been several streamers getting banned for their actions on stream and not 'in game', but square will not accept our twitch clips of people harassing/griefing

Still no action from Square in regards to these people griefing matches and harassing players.
Seems they don't like RMT except when it has to do with Feast. Seems they simply just dont care about the pvp community at all.

on average 30-40% of my matches include a griefer
do you have any idea how hard it is to climb in ranked when you expect to lose 40% of the matches because someone is forcing the loss.
Square just rewards cheaters, makes me question why I even keep playing FF when clearly square doesn't care.
I hate that they make good games, because they are neglectful otherwise.
