I did see your screenshot, and based on the description, I wandered over to Amazon to look up what I think is the item you purchased. This is the link I found: https://www.amazon.com/Ferrara-Butte...0841959&sr=8-3. If that is in fact the item you purchased, it doesn't appear to be on their list of "participating items", and could have been declined for that reason.

Not sure which part you're looking for, but if it's the list of valid items, I pulled it from their website: https://gamewithbutterfinger.com/en-us/Rules (the list is on the last last two pages). Unfortunately, not all Butterfinger products qualify.

Not sure what to tell you in that case. From what I've read, it doesn't appear that yours nor your friend's item should have been approved if going by their "participating products" list. Are you positive it's 100% the exact same item? Maybe they just got lucky and someone passed it through by accident.

And just as a disclaimer, I have not read the entirety of their rules and know nothing of the actual process for how they're approving/declining codes. I'm not claiming that my comments are absolute fact, but more trying to help steer in a possible direction for why it may have been declined. :X

I’d like to add that before you make your purchase, make sure the UPC matches that listed on the qualifying products list. Just having a similar item name may not be enough. If they reject it, you can submit an email to the customer support listed on the email they sent you, informing them that the item you purchased is a qualifying item since they have the same UPC. You can also include an attachment of your invoice and as well as a screenshot of the webpage on Amazon depicting the UPC in the product information section.

Unfortunately, in your case, although the item name is similar, the UPC of your purchased item does not match that on the product list. This weakens your case somewhat; however, you can still reach out to customer support to see if they can help and will accept your receipt as is.

One more thing, if your Amazon purchase is from the US store, can you change the language setting to English, currency to USD and resubmit the invoice in English? This may improve your chances of getting an approval from the evaluators.
