Like c'mon guys what fun is there in just sitting around and waiting for a thing to happen only to have no one queue in for it? That's just not good design IMO. Alternatives in this case are irrelevant because OP literally just wants to do the content but can't due to circumstances outside of his control. That's good though, right? Right?

You can farm loathsome memories by running raids. It doesn't take that long to get 15 of them.

They don't give away relics you need to work for them. it's always been that way.

Me personally, I'd rather get them from CLL... but no one goes in anymore even when it does come up. Feels like better use of my time to do that three times than to do the Crystal Tower raids 15 times. Not only is it less time to get through them, it's also more enjoyable since you have access to all your skills. If not for the lost action system, I feel like it would be better of both that and DR were just added into the raid alliance roulette.

It's not inaccessible "days at a time".
You said you have 3-4 hours a day. That's at the least 1 possible run of CLL.

I'm done with Diamond EX Farm and I had 768 totems in my inventory when I finally got the mount. (someone else I've met had 860 tokens)
384 runs around 10 mins, that's 64 hours of farming excluding searching for groups and wipes. Is it enough of "wasting time" for you?

Yes I wish I could get the mount earlier or through another way but that's how the game is.

If every thing you do in the game is a waste of time then you don't enjoy MMOs. Every game is a waste of time.

You....you do know you will eventually be able to buy the mount with 99 totems right? They do this for every ex mount, run it to get 99 totems then when they add them to the ex store you can get it.

Those relic weapons took literal years to complete, and were very expensive to fund besides. I'd take the ARR and HW grinds over that any day of the week. I miss the good old days of MMO grinding sometimes, but I don't miss anything that excessive.

what are you on about? CLL spawns almost every 90 minutes.
