Another nagging about prims in pvp, the same topics can be found on the wow forum. What's stopping you from forming a band and going to play?Exactly. All PvP ALWAYS comes down to cheating, cheesing, or somehow abusing the system. It's just human nature. The GOAL of any developer should be simply to mitigate the cheating in order to create a fun experience for all, because being cheated is NEVER fun. And, in FF14, this should mean not allowing any pre-made groups into Frontlines because Frontlines is a roulette queue that normal, solo players are allowed to play for fun. Thus, they should make it competitive and fun and not just an exploit-fest.
What's preventing me? Absolute apathy. I play this game for the fun cooperative dungeons and the differently crafted classes, which is what FF14 is good at. If I wanted to PvP, I would play a PvP game, and there are some I like. A good PvP game will enable everyone to feel that they can contribute, however, as a baseline. MMOs can rarely accomplish that. I mean, there's Eve, of course. They actively encourage sociopathy there. So, if you are a normal, well-socialized human being, the environment will turn you off pretty quickBut, if you're into that, it's there. Lord of the Flies Online and all that
But, there is always going to be something that I game just can't do right. For FF14, that's PvP (universally poor in MMOs and rarely good elsewhere), housing (not sure how they borked this up because it's super easy to do but they magically did), and the crafting economy (though it is semi-functional at the end game; this is largely a function of consolism and large data-bases being hard for consoles to query because they just don't do that, thus limiting what the market can facilitate). But, where FF14 shines, it really shines. Hey, if you can do something well, especially nowadays, you're a genius in my opinion. So, huge props to them! FF14 is just super fun. Man, this talk about PvP is making me want to play MWO again, but A) Not enough time and B) I'm sure that Microtransactions have destroyed it by now.
Actually, you know, though. My complaint about premades is singular. It's the deception I don't like. If the other team is full of premades, just tell me. Give me a notice beside the teams letting me know how many premades are in each team. That way, we can at least be open and honest.
I imagine that people making premade don't want that. Do you know why? Because it's cheating, it's cheesy, it's wrong, and they know it. That's why they want to hide it, why they want to be deceptive. They need to trick people, because fraud requires deception. They want you to think that it's fair to draw you into the con. See, if you are playing fair, just be open about what you are doing. Tell us if they other team is premade and how much of them is premade. Problem. Solved. Literally, this would solve the problem for everyone because it removes the scamming from the equation. Let everyone know where they stand.
You just answered me any nonsense even when it doesn't make any sense with what I have written, GG.Don't need to sell something that 99% of the playerbase has already bought. I would love nothing more than PvP to be awesome, but as it stands right now SE literally does not care about it. There's not enough people to even care about it for SE to take notice of it. It is an afterthought and no amount of "Try to sell this" bs is going to change that. It's a dead feature with an even more dying community whether you believe so or not.
Even though now I have to hang out with brainless monkeys in Frontline, I still much prefer the current system to the one we had before because I had to live in Aether during Heavensward a certain Monk who always had 7 healers in his party and it was an experience VERY disgusting even when you managed to coordinate with the rest of your group it sucked

I'm sure that all of you will be pleased to know that on Crystal, the Premade team has beaten the Pick Up Group team every game for an entire 30 days now. Cheaters clearly win! So it goes. Which is why PvP sucks and coop is infinitely superior in every way. Because exploiters will always win such games.
This is not your main character so I can't judge on number of games to you played to see if there is a discrepancy ratio; however, beside the no.1 on Crystal can be label as a bot but I don't see any irregular.I'm sure that all of you will be pleased to know that on Crystal, the Premade team has beaten the Pick Up Group team every game for an entire 30 days now. At least post a screen shot on your current games play since you don't want to post on main?
This is the only character that I'm playing at the moment. So, no idea what you are saying.
Nothing quite like a max battle high and dead last for over 20+ matches in a row, sad fact is you cant carry idiots and people that just don't care, can give all the advice possible, its pointless when people just wont listen and just want there free tomes. Would seriously love a free for all pvp mode, separate the leeches from the actual pvpers.
It is impossible to filter that.Nothing quite like a max battle high and dead last for over 20+ matches in a row, sad fact is you cant carry idiots and people that just don't care, can give all the advice possible, its pointless when people just wont listen and just want there free tomes. The only solution is winner takes all and losers get nothing.
The real question is, would you still play if that is the case?
