Predictions for job(s) in the next expansion?

Well, the Sex Pistols had a song named "Gods Saves the Queen" and Gunnhildr has an attack named that.
Dunno what those metal bands could hint at: melee bard ? Are we going to play a Roadie ? With an axe and a guitar ? Summoning the Ohrmagodden to buff our attacks ? xD

Well, metal music has something of a love affair with military history and warfare in general. Which would tie into what we were talking about earlier about how the overwhelming majority of classes in the game are tied to some nation's army. Examples of it are not that hard to come by:

There is a lot of heavy metal music about the World Wars and the Cold War. Know any NPCs who have attacks that sound like they could be lyrics in a heavy metal song? Or any NPCs that come from an industrial or imperial army?

Like all seem to go to reaper but important detail goes against it also, like Yoshi-p mentioned it ( ofc more pro and cons can be brought up ),
Endwalker will not be: Evil is bad and Light is good. But rather something in between, a reaper class is completly against that,
( like Zenos having a scythe to bring chaos make sense but not for us anymore ).

A "Reaper" class wouldn't exactly be against that since as we can see with Emet-selch using the underworld as a power source isn't exactly an evil thing to do. Plus even then there are different ways that you can have spirits help you fight, like a shaman for example.

Getting a heavy armor with scythe is kind of a real huge challenge... Because it doesn't match, and even so, to make the class happealing is a big deal !
It is also "maybe" too close to Dark Knight.

If that's the case Dragoon should not be as agile as it is. All those flips and jumps and such should not be possible. The secret is that while the armor is heavy armor its material makes it feel light so the wearer is able to be more agile so thats not a big problem. And no it wouldn't be too close to dark knight.

It could still use a scythe and not be a 'reaper'. But by using a scythe it still has that 'reaper' imagery for Zenos.
Just as when Zenos was a Samurai, it didn't mean Samurai was an evil class.

That's already tied to Gunbreaker though, unless the melee class also used a gunblade as a weapon which is a possibility. Vitus quo Messalla did have some attacks that kind of referenced heavy metal music like Industrial Force and a couple of attacks that referenced death and reaping like Culling Blade, To the Slaughter and Exsanguination. He is also leading a military unit called Alaudae; which is a reference to the Legio V Alaudae, one of the Roman legions founded by Gaius Julius Caesar. His name is also kind of interesting since it means Life of Messana; Messana, or Messina, is an Italian city that was home to one of the first outbreaks of the Black Death in Europe. And he is wearing Chromite Armor which is a level 70 fending-maiming set. He is also an NPC we fight in the Gunbreaker questline meaning he is tied to Gunnhildr, albeit indirectly.

So he is kind of checking several boxes at once: heavy metal references, death references, reaper references, elite soldier, fights and moves like a heavy armored DPS, etc...

Well, the Blades of Gunnhildr aren't all gunbreaker and Gunnhildr herself uses a "normal" sword.

As another possibility, the two biggest NPCs tied directly to Gunnhildr in the game are Misija Votyasch (machinist and Garlean soldier) and Noah van Gabranth (Garlean general and Judge).

Honestly I think Judge is pretty likely. Gabranth is (in my knowledge) crazy popular, and we'll finally see his 14's version in action at the next patch, after the reveal of the new job.
Kind of like when we met Gosetsu after the Samurai reveal ya know.

I think Judge is very likely too but going back to Vitus quo Messalla for a bit I find it kind of interesting that a guy with a first name that means Life or Lively is using some new attacks with names like Culling Blade. Culling is a synonym of Reaping. So is retrieve, recover and acquire. So we have a guy named Life in charge of a military unit that specializes in hunting down and 'retrieving' deserters showcasing new attacks that are named with synonyms of the word reaping and other attacks that reference wholesale slaughter and corporal punishment.

The job will be Magus from Chrono Trigger.
Ok maybe not, just thought it was funny 'cause "Magus" is a spellsword class in pathfinder, and also a scythe-wielding wizard in Chrono Trigger which is also a SQX IP so yeah
